About Hiltonbury Farmhouse
Hiltonbury Farmhouse is a traditional village pub on N Millers Dale in Eastleigh, dating back to the 16th century. An open pizza oven stands beside the bar, so the handmade pizzas are made and cooked where guests can watch. The menu also lists steak sandwiches and pie, along with two vegan options. The drinks list includes a selection of local ales. Food arrives by table service, and drinks can also be ordered at the bar. The pub is open daily and welcomes dogs.

Customer Review Summary
Handmade pizzas are the most mentioned draw, with reviewers noting the oven sits beside the bar so diners can watch them made and baked. Close behind are steak sandwiches at lunch, a Christmas lunch with generous turkey and trimmings, and the local ales. Reviewers describe a relaxed, friendly pub with a well maintained garden, covered outdoor booths, grass for children and a welcome for dogs. Service draws the main complaints. Two reviewers mention going to the bar for drinks despite table service or being unsure whether to order there, and another found service fast but not very friendly. One lunch diner called the pizza bland with flavourless tomato sauce, and reported a sticky table and a pulled duck salad with raw rice noodles and dry duck. Both starters came off the bill, and another diner's pie, not hot enough, was rectified with an apology.

“One of my favourite pubs to spend time with friends at lunchtime during the week 😃, everyone is relaxed and don’t mind for you to have time without rushing you😃 Great staff and good food, the pizzas are baked in a proper oven. Special lunch time prices. I like the the small portion of a pudding with a coffee for £6 😀 Good prices other times. Nice seating area indoors and outdoor. Well maintained garden 🪴🌻💐”

“We went for lunch on the Bank holiday and we were lucky as the place was not busy. We sat outside and the seating is comfortable. The service was fast but I wouldn't say very friendly. The food was good and worth the money we paid.”

“Once again a brilliant evening at the Hiltingbury! Millie, Will and the rest of the amazing team did a fantastic job. Food, drinks and the atmosphere were just great! The new menu has some amazing sounding dishes that we can’t wait to sample. This has to be one of our favourite pubs to come to. It’s relaxed, friendly, warm and welcoming. Has a great mix of families, couples, singles and groups that all enjoy what the Hiltingbury has to offer.”
