  “Lovely restaurant, good food at reasonable prices. This was a go to place for me for many years, both with friends and as a solo diner. I have posted positive reviews in the past. So very disappointed to be turned away one Sunday afternoon because ‘a large party was expected.’ This may have been the case but at the time the place was half empty! Discrimination against a solo diner? Not been back since. Disappointing!”

  “Garlic bread and Olives were great. Chicken Milanese was dry and the pasta tasted like tinned spaghetti hoops, the Steak was awful and tasted closer to off bacon. The food must have changed at some point, as it didn't look anything like the pictures on their site or Google. Wouldn't recommend for the money.”

  “Delicious food freshly cooked to perfection at really reasonable prices - cheaper than a lot of very mediocre pub grub. Lovely fish and always a selection of good freshly cooked vegetables. Haven’t tried the pasta yet but will definitely do so soon.”

  “Had a late lunch/early dinner here today. Not been before but will definitely come again. Waitress was amazing, restaurant deco superb, beautifully clean and the food - well outstanding. A great experience, reasonably priced too. A little gem in Eastbourne 😀😀”

  “Went here after a show. Only small restaurant but lovely and vibrant. Tables outside too. Food was delicious and very hot. A little slow coming out together. with service to another table in between serving us.”

  “We revisited Morgans on a Friday early evening after more than a decade, and it didn't disappoint. Despite not having a reservation, the young lady at the door was very accommodating and managed to find us a table. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and a good layout; even as it filled up quickly, we felt we had plenty of space for a private dinner. My wife had the sea bass, which was plentiful, beautifully cooked, and served with great side vegetables. I opted for the pizza - the dough was clearly fresh and high-quality, paired with some excellent fries. My wife enjoyed her Prosecco, but the draught lager is the real standout and highly recommended. The two ladies serving were attentive and kept the service seamless even when the room got busy. We certainly won’t wait another 10 years to come back!”

  “This is a delightful little restaurant set away from the main seafront, but only a few minutes walk away from the city centre. It offers Romanian Italian menu with some really nice starters and rain courses and very affordable wine because we had a dog we sat outside and sunshine was lovely evening in spring. The service was absolutely fabulous. I know it’s something just wonderful about soaking up the late afternoon sunshine for a glass of wine and some anti-pastil”

  “Very tasty salmon pasta, first-class service and the atmosphere of a real restaurant - with a white tablecloth, cutlery and a flower on the table. Compares favorably with restaurants in the center, where for the same or more money you will eat on an oilcloth "home-style". I highly recommend it.”
