  “Food was shocking. Ribs were all fat and sauce was tasteless gloop which was meant to be BBQ sauce. Crispy shredded chilli beef wasn't shredded was in big slabs and weren't crispy and none of us could chew them. When I phoned and complained and asked for crispy chilli chicken instead we were told they would do that and take back the beef and charge me an extra £5 to deliver it!! Will never order from here again. What a waste of £60”

  “First time to order food from chan cottage. Sweet and sour chicken was not very good. Chicken very hot but sause was warm. Small amount of chips. .I would say well over priced . Will not return to this takeaway. Not happy I was looking forward to my meal.”

  “So sadly I have to update this I'm.so disappointed tonight of all the times I have ordered from here this was the worse meal I've had obviously the prices have gone up but they have changed the chips they are humongous and soggy and over cooked the chicken balls were overcooked and to within a inch of their life and we got half a pot of sweet and sour that has been dramatically watered down and didn't stick to anything that was dipped into it paid alot for food tonight and most of it went in the bin which is a lot of money to waste on poor food.”

  “Absolutely rubbish. Ordered a takeaway with no onions and got twice as much than usual, plus more of the vegetable in a different dish that my partner is allergic to. We were refused a refund or a replacement and they were very insistent that we had ordered extras instead of none then changed their mind evidently and said that we hadn't ordered any changes at all. Don't recommend.”

  “Ordered sesame prawn on toast They were burnt. Call them to advise and the woman who answered said she put them in the bag and they weren't. Followed on with if you dont like our food dont come here.”

  “If I could give it a 0 star I would. Worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Just moved to area and thought I’d try a new one and it was diabolical 🤢🤮sweet and sour is a joke! Noodles disgusting and too salty, rice was dire.. spare ribs tasted like dry and rubbery. Never again! Do not order from here”
