  “Service was quick, 9 dishes and ordered and cooked in 15 minutes, should have been a sign though. Food super hot and looked like good size portions, but then we started tasting it. Sweet and sour sauce that was split and tasted of oyster sauce and vinegar. Inedible. Chicken balls that looked ok but weren’t fully cooked through the batter so doughy and very oily. Chow meins were both running in oil and slippery with no real flavour. Crispy beef had an ok sauce but there was no real beef just crispy husks of batter. Beef and black bean sauce, beef ok but the sauce tasted of gravy granules and was also layered with oil on top. Might be reasonable, might be fast, but save your money and buy anything from anywhere else.”

  “Had this for takeaway delivery quite a few times now, most recently last night and can say it’s the best Chinese in Calne that we’ve had. There are good options on the menu, it is always delivered in a timely manner and the food is delicious! Every element was great, chicken was tender and king prawns plentiful and not dried out. The chips were golden and crispy, and the curries full of meat and veg with tasty sauce. Special fried rice and special chow mein was also full of meat and veg. Our friend visiting also said it was the best he’s had in a while. Will be our go to Chinese takeaway for the foreseeable now, as every time it’s been this way.”

  “Fantastic takeaway! Food was reasonably priced and delicious. Friendly staff and they were able to prepare great food pretty quickly. Would definitely make a return next time I'm in the area.”

  “A Truly Disappointing Experience Where do I even start? I was genuinely excited to have a Chinese meal, but oh boy — what a letdown. The rice was completely drowned in soy sauce — it was so dark it looked almost black. The chips were undercooked, practically raw, and the prawn balls might as well have been called “batter balls” because there was barely any prawn to be found. The sauces were thick, gloopy, and congealed almost instantly. The Szechuan beef came in a heavy, gravy-like sauce that thickened up fast, and the beef itself was as tough as old boots. It was obvious my food had been sitting around for an extra 35 minutes while they tried to fix issues with the order. The chicken curry was about 80% onion — seriously, they need to calm down with the onions! To make matters worse, they messed up my order and charged me for a curry I didn’t even order. When I phoned to complain, they did send out fresh rice and chips and refunded the incorrect curry, but by then the disappointment had already set in. If a restaurant can’t get the basics right, what’s the point of opening for business? Honestly, this experience has completely put me off. I’ll never be ordering from this place again.”

  “Ordered takeaway tonight, one meal and one fried rice was not provided as we discovered when we got home. Phoned and shop said never ordered. Unhappy with amount charged. No refund!”
