Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the vegetarian duck in black bean sauce, which a veggie diner and another customer both call superb, and one says it beats any meat-free option they usually find at a Chinese takeaway. Close behind are the beef in black bean sauce, the fish in ginger and spring onion, and the special fried rice. Others praise the sesame prawn toast, honey spare ribs, chicken pancake rolls and a side of satay sauce, and one calls the chicken salt and chilli very good. Several mention friendly, welcoming staff, food ready on arrival, and dishes brought out on a heated tray. The complaints are sharper. One reviewer found a large order bland and dry, with half left uneaten. Another describes sweet and sour chicken and soups as full of gelatine and corn flour, and says the manager told them to go elsewhere. A regular finds it not as good as it used to be, with gloopy dishes and beef sent instead of the lamb in black bean sauce. One happy customer missed the pickled vegetables and sauce meant for the crispy aromatic pork pancakes.

“Called in our order. Chap on the phone was very helpful (I am a bit hard of hearing) Food was ready almost as soon as we arrived. Food was hot, well cooked, great flavour. Ordered a side of satay sauce and it was the best i have tasted.”

“First time ive ordered from here. We placed a combine order of £155. The food was bland, dry and just not enjoyable. We've ate half and half will go to waste now. Other customer reviews are misleading because truly this chinese spot needs to fix up. Not a 'Friday night chinese' I would go to.”

“As near restaurant quality as you can get. Visited a friend in Corsham last year and enjoyed lovely food from this takeaway. For me the key to a great restaurant/takeaway is consistency. Tonight we were in the area and ordered beef in black bean sauce, fish in ginger/spring onion and a vegetarian duck dish. They were all superb including the special friend rice. I genuinely think this is as close to restaurant quality you can get from a takeaway.”

“This is the best takeaway in corsham, I am Veggie and usually can't order anything that interesting from a Chinese however these guys have really stepped it up with the veggie selection! I had the vegetarian duck in black bean sauce and wow I loved it alongside some noodles. Everything had so much flavour and even the basic egg fried rice was just so much better than we've ever had anywhere else. 10/10 been telling everyone about it!”
