“I would strongly advise people to avoid King Do Chinese Takeaway. Absolutely terrible experience. They took our money and then gave us the completely wrong order. When we called back to explain the mistake, the person on the phone was extremely rude and immediately insisted that we had ordered the wrong thing — which is simply not true. There were two of us here when the order was placed, and we both clearly heard the correct items being ordered. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, they refused to take responsibility and made out as if we were trying to blame them unfairly. We asked for our money back and for the incorrect food to be collected, and both requests were refused. No apology, no attempt to fix the situation — just poor customer service and a bad attitude. Very disappointing and unprofessional. I would avoid at all costs.”

“Alway nice food as we have been coming here for years for their King prawn chow mein and halal crispy salt and pepper chicken 😋 the food is so nice that I never get an opportunity to take any pictures 🙈😅 Update: finally managed to beat the savages off longer enough to take some pictures 😂”

“Bland food the lady couldn't explain the difference between each dish, egg fried rice was just fried rice, no Chinese spices in anything (chicken curry with mushrooms, chicken foo yong, egg fried rice, chips) asked them to make it spicy, nothing, asked how long it will take lady said 5 minutes, what ??? tasted more like a English meal, definitely wasted our money”

“It's a takeaway so can't really judge on atmosphere. Always seems cold when waiting though. Food was tasty as expected. Used to be contactless a while back but now with new owners either cash or via a food ordering website like Just eat that add additional commission on top.”

“"Its not the same taste Dad!" my middle so opined as he reluctantly forked into his Roasted Pork Chow Mein "where are the previous owners?" The food is not the same with the new owners. We have been proud customers of King Do for over 40 years. I met the lady who used to own this establishment and she mentioned they have purchased a new Chinese Take Away. But I forgot where Lol”
