Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often return for the hot, flavourful takeaway food, with the chow mein and egg fried rice singled out, and the salt and pepper tofu recommended by one vegetarian diner. Several describe good portions, food arriving piping hot, and friendly, efficient staff, plus complimentary prawn crackers for one first-time customer. Others are less happy with the cooking itself. One calls the sweet and sour sauce vinegary and runny, another found the black pepper chicken missing its carrots and capsicum, and a third says the chicken balls have shrunk and the curry tasted like off milk with no spice. Delivery is the most repeated complaint. Three reviewers report orders arriving around two hours late or well over an hour, and one says the app marked an order delivered when it never reached the house on Christmas Eve, with calls going unanswered or the phone left off the hook. One collecting in person adds that the waiting area has an uncomfortable bench, stock in the way and a door left open to the cold. Even a positive reviewer had to reheat a late delivery.

“1st time users. Nice greeting, ordered meal for 1, twice. Took 5-7 mins to cook, complimentary prawn crackers. Portion size good, meal nice and hot when we got home. Very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and use again.”

“The food was very nice, loads of flavour but had to reheat it when it came nearly 2hrs late.”

“Ordered food 2 hours ago, app says delivered, erm, where because it isn't at my house. Left numerous messages for them to call back and they either don't answer or they leave the phone off the hook. Absolutely disgusting and ruined our Christmas Eve. Well, after years of loyal custom you have lost us now. Absolutely disgraceful.”

“Ordered for delivery via JustEat (delivered by restaurant drivers). Food arrived nearly 2 hours after ordering and was subpar at best. Chips were completely over done and lots of them had black and green bits on them. Sweet and sour sauce was vinegary and really runny not like any sweet and sour I have had from a Chinese takeaway before. The chicken in the curry looked and tastes like it had been frozen and wasn't fresh, the same with the chicken balls. Finally the salt and pepper chicken didnt taste like salt and pepper chicken and had very little flavourings. The two good items were the plain noodles and the egg fried rice. Definitely won't be ordering from here again despite their high rating on JustEat.”
