  “Don't be tricked by some of these reviews, majority seem rather vaguley genuine, my impression when popped down earlier took walk to the area, young bar staff, had no interaction, or skills to be behind bar, no knowedlge of types of drinks or prices, plus had to repeat myself to the senior older bar staff, which rudley responded with intention unwillingly to help, then as i have worked in bars in past they were not willing to top up the Ale that i Purchased, then rudley started laughing with other ill mannered customer at the bar standing, it hasn't settled yet, clearly me and my friend were too DARK for the place, as it seems to be rather a prejudist type of a place, some faces NOT welcome, personally will never recommend or bother ging back again, sham on these members of staff Nothing else to say , but they have lots of work to do, sorry”

  “Friendly local bar with a good selection of beers and very well kept ales all served with amazing smiles and friendly service. Very popular with locals. Food is now pretty good also with a decent selection”

  “The pub/bar is modern, clean and has a good mixed aged range. The bar staff are so friendly and happy, they even seem to have great chemistry with eachother as colleagues. Best pub in the area by far 👍🏻”

  “Popped in here after a 3 mile walk around Chellaston. Had a couple of Dancing Duck beers. I would recommend coming here for a drink, I will try the food on my next visit.”

  “Came to this bar a month ago as i'm moving into the area soon and allready thought when i first walked in, what a nice sports bar, great staff and loads of screens so you can't miss anything whilst your being served, staff are lovely & very welcoming. Drinks are reasonably priced and the food menu has a good variety and also reasonably priced. Definitely come again.”

  “What a fantastic Sports bar plenty of televisions. Staff helpful and polite the venue is clean bright and a good selection of drink. If I lived more local I would definitely be in here a few times.”

  “Very modern very clean with a good selection of drinks at a reasonable price with helpful bar staff. Sports bar with TV on three walls. Sometimes has entertainment on Saturday. It's a bit of a mystery trying to find the way to the car park but if you go up the drive of the Lawns Hotel then bear left you are then in The R & Rs car park.”

  “Great sports bar. Plenty of drinks choices including some well kept real ales. Very smart inside and also a nice decked area to sit out when the weather permits. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Occasional live music on too. Well worth a visit.”

  “A hidden gem. Building completely renovated in 2017 and converted into a super modern, super clean sports bar and lounge which has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Expertly designed and immaculately presented with some wow-factor lighting and inviting comfortable furniture. The staff seemed very polite and friendly and a great range of drinks are available. I'm certain this place will be very successful.”
