“Went in for my fortnightly carvery and asked for extra meat and the cook / chef laughed and said you'll get what everyone else gets ... Fair enough but when I looked at what was on the plate you could almost see through it .. So one of the bar staff was passing and I got her attention and asked can I pay for extra meat and she said yes and when I got back to the servery her face was seathing .. It looked like she was under duress ... Put me right off ... As for the food the stuffing was a crumbled mess / dry ... And as we all know it's the stuffing that makes a carvery Got a refund and never going back ... Place has gone right down hill food wise ... I don't need to go to the pub to get attitude...”

“I visited the blue peter on Friday 10/07/26 with a friend for breakfast, and I cannot praise them enough, the quality of the buffet style breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and professional, the price was extremely reasonable considering that as it is buffet style you can help yourself to as much as you want. I would like to praise the two ladies on the buffet deck but I cannot remember their names, but they produced the best full English breakfast I've had in ages, I will definitely be returning fir another one”
