Customer Review Summary
Pizza draws the most comment, and opinion is split, with the sharpest criticism coming from reviewers who knew the place under its previous owners. Several say it used to be the best takeaway in town, with a unique style of pizza, but that a new recipe since the change of owners has made it the same greasy kebab shop pizza, with the chips and garlic sauce changed too. Others describe an undercooked pizza whose slices flop, toppings that all come off in one bite, and garlic bread swimming in butter. One reviewer who ordered a gluten free base found it stodgy, with cheese that tasted cheap, and says staff replied "that's how we make it". Another was told late in the evening that only chips were left, with no pizza or burgers. Happier diners praise a hot, generous pizza with chips and garlic bread, donner kebabs that aren't greasy, a wide gluten free range, and chips with a crunch at the bottom. One calls a half parmo the best they have ever had.

“Ordered for the first time as they can use gluten free bases. Ordered 3 pizzas(1 with gluten free base) and two kids meals. Food was ready pretty quickly, but what a disappointment- bases were stodgy and the cheese tasted so cheap. Just a really poorly made pizza, when we complained they said it was because we didn’t pick them up till 20 minutes after they were ready - not sure how that makes the ingredients poor quality or the flavours really poor. They also just thumbed up our comments and made zero effort to even acknowledge the poor quality of pizza they serve up - “that’s how we make it” apparently - maybe aim for better than it tasting so cheap and nasty it should’ve cost 50p, not over £30!”

“Called in 10-50 to be told all they have left is chips. It says open till 11 but all you can have chip's, what about pizza and burgers. Why not say when it's gone it's gone.”

“How can you call this a pizza, undercooked, you can’t even pick up a slice as it just flops all over, none of this has been eaten either, this photo shows the result of trying to separate the slices!!”

“This is a shame to write, this used to be the best pizza shop in the town, unique type of pizza. Now it’s the same old greasy kebab shop pizza. Completely new recipe after the new owners have been given the ones from the previous owners of how ever many years.”
