  “This place must be under new management or cooks, been my go-to Chinese since I was a kid, all the meats have changed to little processed cubes of god knows what taste nothing like beef or char Sui which was in my order Every dish was way too salty, it’s a shame really the last couple I got haven’t been very nice but after this I won’t be getting another, whatever’s changes needs discussing and changes made as every person I’ve said this too has said the exact same, hopefully it returns to the high standards it had for many years such a shame 🤦🏽‍♂️”

  “I’ve been using this Chinese for 35 years and it’s impeccable. I’m furious about all of the awful reviews about the rude blonde woman. This lady is one of the reasons I come to this place and nobody knows what this blonde woman has been through in her life and she has never been anything but a lovely lovely person to me. I think it’s really really offensive to 1st of all name her and second of all call her a rude old woman she is none of either.”

  “Horrendous customer service from the small blonde woman. Sat there on her phone whilst orders are pillling up behind her, scolded a man for asking about his order. Then proceeded to pull me up for having a ten pound note rested in my lips whilst I was checking the physical menu prices compared to the massively outdated ones available on the internet. Ironic considering the place has a two star hygiene rating.”

  “Collected for ease as had rough few days. Order taken by a really lovely friendly woman. Got to the shop and there were two women one dark haired friendly lady and another blonde woman, the latter behind the counter is a disgrace. I was 5 minutes early so said I would sit in the car but could I pay. Her words were, in the most disgusting and rude way was “no cos we don’t know how much it is so you can’t” I did know how much it was as they wanted cash and I’d brought just enough.if my dad hadn’t just passed away and I needed a quick somethjng to eat cos I’m totally shattered. I would have drove off but I also couldn’t stand the waste of food. I will not be ordering again no matter how hungry I am or how good the food is. Edited. Food incidentally was very very nice . I spoke discreetly to sue behind the counter on how rude she was. I was very very polite but she proceeded to argue with me in the middle of the shop. What a pity they are probably losing a lot of Custom because of her. I’ve read reviews and I’m not the only one. Just remember that sometimes being kind and polite goes a long way. Someone might be having a really bad day, not eaten in two days and had to come in their pyjamas cos they have no energy or motivation. Be kind. Life is too short to be unhappy on your job. But positive note. Your chef is very very good Thank you for making me an easy meal tonight”

  “I always dread going here because the old blonde woman always has the most atrocious attitude. The food is lovely so I go back begrudgingly. You can order then come back and she's already forgotten your face. Most miserable trout I've ever come across. If the food wasn't so good I would never come back.”

  “This is surely one of the best Chinese Takeaway in Darlington. Unlike most other places the oil is relatively (RELATIVELY) low but the taste is really good.”

  “Absolute best place🙌 always get the regular aka the egg fried rice only place I'll get it from absolute amazing so simple to order even checks to see what ur order is! They always say "regular?" If we walk in or "is it for her" as I'm a regular and know my order and words can't even explain how good the egg fried rice is in my opinion and surprised this place doesn't have 5 star!!”

  “It's taken me 8 months since I moved here and about 20 Facebook requests for the best Chinese in Darlington. But today we tried this one and it was 100% the best I've had round here. Highly recommend. Massive portions, delicious recipes, I wasn't expecting it for a little hidden away Chinese shop.”
