Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the speed and freshness of the takeaway, with food arriving hot and ahead of the quoted time, in one case ready within about fifteen minutes of ordering. Close behind is the friendliness of the staff, with several describing an owner who is accommodating and a phone team that was helpful with dietary requirements and changes to dishes. Portion sizes and the amount of meat are praised, and many call the prices reasonable. Diners mention chicken curry, soups, a side of chips and complimentary prawn crackers by name, and one regular says it has been their go-to Chinese for over a decade. The one recurring-style complaint comes from a single reviewer who found the chicken in their curry arrived as perfectly square, uniform cubes that looked unnatural, though it tasted like chicken. Another reviewer who had noticed mixed reviews tried it anyway and called the meal delicious. One couple even phoned back to pass compliments to the chef.

“This has been our go-to Chinese probably for 10+ years. Owner is always exceptionally friendly and accomodating. Food has never disappointed either, always tastes fresh and warm on arrival home. Very tasty dishes and reasonably for price.”

“Was visiting my dad and chose to have this for dinner before travelling home. This was the best chinese me and dad have had and will definitely be choosing this again tge food was amazing and the service was brilliant. We called and placed our order at 4.35pm and by 5pm we had collected it and was eating. Price is more than reasonable. Would highly recommend 👌”

“Food is tasty and service is friendly and efficient - my only gripe is that if I order anything with chicken in it I kind of expect it to resemble chicken. My chicken curry had cubes of chicken in it - all perfectly square and uniform - it tasted like chicken but it looked weird and unnatural and puts me off ordering it again.”
