  “I usually go to Nando’s Crewe to enjoy a meal with my family and friends. Went there yesterday and was met at the door by this lady with blue hair. The first thing she asked me was “ have you ever been to Nandos before” and before I even said yes she went on to ask if I knew how to order food. I felt degraded and humiliated. Out of curiosity I decided to check if she was doing the same with all other customers but turns out it was just us. I quickly assumed she felt we had no idea what we were doing being the only people of colour in the place. I have always had a pleasant experience for the past 3 years but yesterday’s experience didn’t sit right with me.”

  “Fantastic experience at Nando’s! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The staff were very respectful, friendly, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Service was quick and efficient, which made the whole visit even better. The restaurant design is amazing — one of the best I’ve seen in any Nando’s. It has a calm, quiet atmosphere, making it a perfect place for families or anyone looking to enjoy a relaxed meal. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back!”

  “Absolutely unacceptable and misleading. The menu presentation is deceptive. I ordered a plate of boneless chicken thighs; the menu image clearly shows the dish served with peas and mash. What arrived was only the chicken thighs. See the photos When I raised this with the manager, instead of acknowledging the issue, they argued that the sides were not mentioned in the text description. That does not justify using a misleading image that creates clear and reasonable expectations for the customer. This is a deceptive scamming trade practice. I refused the food on principle. Customers should not be misled by inaccurate menu images, and this kind of practice should not be tolerated.”

  “Had a brilliant experience on Thursday lunch. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service was super quick. The food was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked chicken with loads of flavour. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and was really clean and comfortable. Highly recommend”
