About The Coast Bar & Dining Room
The Coast Bar & Dining Room is a modern European restaurant in Cowes, on Shooters Hill at number 14-15. The room has bare brick walls and mismatched tables. The kitchen serves breakfast alongside European flavours, and the business also runs as a breakfast restaurant and a takeout restaurant. The name pairs a bar with a dining room, so the venue covers both. Dogs are welcome, so guests who bring a dog along can eat in with it.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the food and service, with the burger a favourite, followed by the goats cheese pizza, and chicken and salmon described as cooked to perfection. Staff are called wonderful, with no long waits for food. Criticism centres on small portions and value: one diner found the pork belly incredibly salty and the fish overcooked, and the closing ice cream was a very small scoop.

“Top place to eat in cowes, great staff and service. Good menu of top quality food.”

“One of my favourite restaurants in Cowes and always have lots of staff so not long waits on food. Dim lit so phone torches may be needed. I recommend reservations as even on week nights, there are usually lots of tables of people. Food is never faulted, my favourites are the burger and the goats cheese pizza!”

“We came here this evening, after being recommended the restaurant by a local shopkeeper and we could have not been happier! The service was great, and by far the best meal out we have ever had food wise. For £75 for 2 drinks each, starters mains’ and 1 desert, this is more than reasonable. The chicken and salmon were cooked to perfection, and the flavour was brilliant. A real hidden gem, on the island!”
