  “We recently visited The Millpool in Coventry, and it was hands down one of the best places we’ve ever been to! The entire venue was incredibly clean and tidy throughout. The hospitality was absolutely amazing—the staff were so welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. On top of the great service, the food was outstanding and very tasty. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be returning!”

  “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a baby shower here and had such a lovely experience! As you can imagine, with a big group of us it was a little bit of organised chaos, especially when it came to ordering food and drinks, but everything was handled brilliantly. A special mention has to go to Riley, who was absolutely fantastic throughout. He was so attentive, patient and helpful with all of our orders and made sure everyone had what they needed. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, despite us probably keeping him very busy! He’s a credit to the pub and really helped make the baby shower run smoothly. Great food, great service and a lovely experience overall. Thank you, to all for making it so special.”

  “Lovely family celebration here today. Food was excellent and the happiest, friendliest bunch of staff I've ever come across. They made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble, making sure everyone in the party had a great time. Also they were great when informed one of the party was strictly Gluten Free due to Coeliacs and went above and beyond to reassure us about how their meal woukd be prepared and served. Can't recommend highly enough. Def 5 stars and more.”

  “We had a fantastic meal at The Millpool. All five of us chose the prawn and salmon salad, and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were really generous, the ingredients were fresh, and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The Millpool is a great pub with a warm, friendly atmosphere, excellent food, and great value for money. The staff are always welcoming, making it a place we look forward to visiting. Highly recommended!”

  “Popped in this evening for a drink and was feeling peckish. Asked the friendly guy behind the bar if they would be able to cook me some cheesy chunky chips with jalapeños and bbq sauce. He and the chef understood the assignment and served me up with the best ones I’ve had in a pub yet! Absolutely spot on. Thanks again for accommodating my odd request. They were so good! 🤤”

  “Amazing family gathering here. Food, service, atmosphere was all spot on. There was 14 of us booked in and we were looked after so well. The food was lovely, the drinks flowed nicely and the whole evening was enjoyed by all of us. Thank you to all at the Millpool. 10/10 x”

  “Food was HOT. As it should be. Nearly burnt my lip even after dunking the chicken tenders in the Jack Daniel's sauce. 🤣 2 x course special less than £10. Great bit of banter with the Gaffer discussing the Coventry City Sky Blues. ❤️ (And he's hands on too. Busy, busy.) 👍 👌”

  “Had an absolutely brilliant meal at the Millpool Pub today. 🍽️ The roast dinner was spot on - perfectly cooked beef, rich gravy, fluffy mash and one of the biggest Yorkshire puddings I’ve ever seen! Everything tasted homemade and full of flavour, with generous portions and proper pub comfort food done right. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, staff were friendly and attentive and the whole place had that classic cosy pub feel you want from a Sunday roast spot. Definitely worth a visit if you’re after quality food, good service and a relaxed atmosphere. Will 100% be coming back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

  “First time visiting this pub for lunch. We were seated straight away, which was a great start, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. Drinks: ordered glass of lemonade and cup of green tea. Presentation of tea was poor, a teabag tossed in cup with hit water, for the type of teabag it should have been in a small teapot. The food was good overall, and the portion sizes were generous. My only real issue was with the presentation. I ordered the stuffed boneless chicken thighs and expected it to be served on a plate, but it came in a bowl instead. That made it quite awkward to eat with a knife and fork. It was served on top of mashed potatoes and absolutely swimming in gravy—now I like gravy, but this was a bit over the top. Thankfully, my daughter ordered a side of chips (which was easily enough for two), so I added some to help balance things out. For dessert, the cheese selection was fine, but the chocolate brownie with ice cream was disappointingly small. Compared to desserts at other pubs, it felt like the weakest part of the meal. That said, the pub itself is spacious, clean, and cosy, with a really welcoming atmosphere.”
