Customer Review Summary

Breakfast and brunch draw the most mentions, with reviewers singling out the chorizo hash with hash browns, the refreshing Morning Cooler and the Cosy Butchers Brunch, which a group said they would order again. Close behind, dinner and lunch dishes get praise, including a beef steak cooked beautifully and an ox tail ragu described as delightful. Reviewers also mention the Camden Pale Ale, a house red Tempranillo, a welcome prosecco and a summertime spritz or hot chocolate on the balcony. Staff are repeatedly called friendly, welcoming and attentive, and several describe the decor and seating as lovely and comfy. The caveats are about service and value. One birthday group waited about three hours with drinks offered only once and a long delay getting dessert menus, and another diner had to get up to ask for the bill. One reviewer called the breakfast poor for the price, with a lukewarm coffee. One reviewer suggests booking for busier times, and a diner on a quiet Sunday said the wait for food was well worth it.

“Cosy Club Coventry is a family favourite (on both sides). Whether it’s a Christmas time hot chocolate on the balcony or a summertime spritz, it’s a regular treat for us! Always lovely customer service!!”

“Sept 2025. Went for lunch with a couple of friends. We all had the Cosy Butchers Brunch, it was absolutely delicious and all of us agreed we would defiantly have it again. The service was quick and polite. I would also recommend the Camden Pale Ale. July 2026. Back for lunch. As good as before, keep up the good work.”

“Great service and lovely food. Went down to celebrate one of my colleagues birthday and she also got an welcome prosecco on the house. Although not many choices for dinner the beef stake was cooked beautifully and the waiters were all very welcoming and attentive, which is why we will definitely return.”

“My husband and I love coming to the Cosy Club for dinner, but we hadn’t been back for breakfast in a few years and decided to go this morning. Because the sun was out, we sat out on the balcony, which was lovely. We were really pleased with everything - the food was delicious, our orders came out quickly, and all the staff were really friendly. The only minor issue was trying to get the bill at the end. We couldn't catch anyone's attention for a little while, so I eventually had to get up and ask a waitress. She brought the bill straight over, so it really didn't impact our overall visit. We had a great time and will definitely be back again soon!”

“Lovely place. Beautiful decor and plenty of seating with a nice atmosphere. Quality of breakfast was poor for the price, quite disappointing really. Coffee was luke warm. Nice staff.”
