Quick info
About Burrito Masala
Burrito Masala is a fusion restaurant on Shopping Centre in Coventry, building burritos, quesadillas and burrito rice bowls around Indian-style fillings. The whole menu is halal, so anyone who eats that way can order freely across it. The lamb burrito bowl brings lamb curry over rice with finely cut mixed salad, and a potato masala burrito gives vegetarians a filled option of their own. Jalapeno comes with the paneer quesadilla. Ordering runs on a walk-in basis at the counter, with no bookings taken, and the team will suggest what to try if you are undecided. Doors open daily.

Customer Review Summary
Lamb is what reviewers return to most, whether in the lamb burrito, the lamb burrito bowl or the lamb rice bowl. One describes the meat as tender and juicy, and another says the bowl tasted almost home-cooked. A lamb keema toast and a keema paratha roll with a buttery finish also earn praise. Close behind are the vegetarian choices, with a potato masala burrito called a great and healthy option by a non-vegetarian diner, and a paneer quesadilla whose jalapeno reviewers say complements it beautifully. Several call the Indian and Mexican fusion unusual, with one admitting they were sceptical at first before it worked. The chicken burrito is called fresh and light, and the side potatoes flavourful but not too spicy. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, kind and helpful, and one reviewer mentions a clean space. No complaints appear in the reviews. One diner took the owner's recommendation of the lamb burrito bowl and called it fantastic.

“Beautiful Indian based authentic styled foods, I have tried the keema paratha roll in the past which has a lovely buttery melt after taste and today I tried the lamb rice bowl. The rice bowl has the perfect saucy combination of lamb curry which has a comforting meaty soup taste combined with finely cut mixed salad Ns me is an styled burrito rice 😍 Sunita has excellent chef and customer skills and gives the right recommendations and suggestions, Thankyou!”
