  “Came here for our anniversary meal, it's not our first visit, we have been on a few special occasions. Really felt like the team make an effort to make sure we had great night, every member of staff was so friendly and eager to make our night memorable. I booked this place mainly for my boyfriend as he's a huge meat eater, but I'm a vegetarian and still had a very tasty meal despite obviously their main focus being meat. Thank you so much for a very memorable anniversary meal, and thank you to your chefs and waiting team who did an amazing job.”

  “This is the first time I visited Hickory's Smoke House i went for lunch with my brother. There were great brunch deals on menu 😋 The milkshakes are fabulous. We ordered chicken tenders which were perfectly cooked with fries. I ordered brunch burger with salad it was loaded with cheese, bacon 🥓 and hashbrown with salad and pickle. It was delicious.. The staff are friendly and attentive. The building is fun and atmosphere created in restaurant is lovely. I will be back.”

  “The food was lovely. Unfortunately, they had run out of a few things, thankfully not the grape soda!! but the way our waitress handled it made it completely forgivable. She was friendly, easy to talk to, and gave us genuine recommendations on the food, which made the experience feel more personal. The atmosphere was great too, sports on, a relaxed vibe, and it really did have that proper Texas feel. Overall, a really enjoyable visit and we’d definitely come back.”

  “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a fantastic meal at Hickory’s Burton Green. The food was absolutely incredible, especially the smoked meat, which was so tender it practically melted in the mouth. Every bite was packed with flavour, with the perfect balance of smoky, rich, and juicy goodness. The loaded fries were a standout too — generously topped with melted cheese, jalapeños, and all the right accompaniments. The sides complemented the main perfectly, and the Burbon gravy added an extra layer of deliciousness. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout. From the quality of the food to the overall experience, everything exceeded expectations. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had and the best meat spot , and I can’t wait to come back for another visit. Highly recommended! 🍖🔥👏”

  “Great as usual! Excellent food! Wish they had Creole Spicy Rice in addition to chips and salads. Beef rib and brisket were superb. Easy to find and enough parking. Few minutes drive from Nailcote Hall hotel.”

  “Absolutely brilliant establishment. Manager Corey lee and server Rebecca were absolute legends and sorted a small mishap over over cooked ribs and couldn't be more grateful 👍🏼 10/10 for awesome customer service 👏🏼 definitely will be visiting again due to these 2 in particular. Well worth the money and time spent in here”

  “We had such a lovely experience at Hickory Restaurant. The food was delicious and full of flavour, and the wine was absolutely amazing. It was my other half’s birthday, and the staff went above and beyond — they sang a birthday song and surprised us with a dessert, which made the evening feel really special. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. Overall, a wonderful experience and definitely a place I’d recommend.”
