  “I used to buy from here regularly around 3 years ago and was craving Chinese chips and a few other bits, so ordered a delivery through Uber Eats. The food was appalling, the chips were hard dry and inedible and went to the bin, the prawn toast was poor and the Singapore noodles were not much better. Singapore noodles used to be a great dish here but I won’t be eating from here again”

  “Super yummy!! Crispy chili squid, chicken and sweetcorn soup, Kung po prawns, black bean sauce, crispy chili chicken and bean sprouts were all really good. Prawn toast was a little over done and Singapore vegetable rice wasn't great. Lots of tofu options Would go again!”

  “Great food. Popped in on a Saturday evening and picked up some great chow mein - both prawn and beef were good - and the tastiest chicken balls ever. Nice special fried rice too.”

  “The food did take 1hr45m to arrive - but it was very tasty, hot and fresh. I’ll definitely be ordering again, but will remember to order well in advance.”

  “Delivered nearly and hour late, stone cold food and sent the wrong item... again. Also the prawn crackers taste funny, I think its old oil. I wish I could get a refund, safe to say I won't be bothering again. Shame been using this place for around 10 years”

  “We have just moved to the area and were looking for a good local takeaway. This was the closest Chinese takeaway to us and decided to try it despite it not having the highest rating locally. However upon ordering we were very happy with our choice. The food was good, very reasonably priced and ready on time. Highly recommend for a Chinese takeaway. We had sweet and sour chicken balls, chicken chow mein, lemon chicken, mini spring rolls, crispy chilli beef (hot - it wasnt too hot) and egg fried rice. The chips were not to our liking but everything else was yummy. Thank you Hong Kong Chef, we will be ordering again. We ordered extra but have had enough leftovers for 2-4 people.”

  “Ordered a takeaway from their website. Got a delivery time about 40 minutes later. When it hadn’t arrived 15 minutes after the stated delivery time I called and was told they were waiting for the driver to come back and it would be another 20 minutes. It finally turned up 50 minutes after the stated delivery time. The food was ok. Veg chow mien consists mostly of bamboo shoots with a small amount of other veg (broccoli, carrots, mushrooms). The veg spring rolls were nice cos I re-heated them and the egg fried rice had very little egg in it. On the plus side the portions are good and the guy on the phone was helpful”

  “Ordered over the phone for two meals for four people. Lovely well spoken lady took our order. Not sure we would have enough so ordered extra and am now eating it the following day. Lovely blended favours and delicious food. Had the order delivered but forgot to take into Bath traffic on a very wet Friday evening.”
