  “Stopped in for food and had a great experience. The bar lady (I assume the landlady) was incredibly busy, but still managed to make everyone feel welcome. She was so attentive despite juggling everything, and made a huge fuss of our dog, which was really appreciated. The food was excellent too – really tasty and well cooked. Friendly service, a warm atmosphere, and great food. We'd happily return if back in the area and would definitely recommend it.”

  “Visited The New Inn as staying locally and it was two minutes away. The pub itself is immaculate, with plenty of room and lots of space. Pub is dog friendly which was a massive bonus for us. Plenty of options at the bar, with a great selection of beers/lagers and ciders! We had the burger and it tasted great, the servings were just right. Atmosphere was great and the staff were lovely. Would recommend visiting if you’re in the area. Local pub with a great vibe.”

  “We visited on Saturday evening as a large family group of 15, and I can honestly say the experience was fantastic from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome and well looked after. A special mention has to go to Dani, who single-handedly managed our entire order. She handled everything in such a calm, professional, and genuinely friendly way—nothing felt like too much trouble. Thank you, Dani, you were amazing! The food was REALLY good across the board, and everything came out smoothly despite the size of our group. I’d especially recommend the wild boar sausages—they were absolutely delicious. All in all, a brilliant evening with great service, great food, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!”

  “Lovely team. Really nice bar area with a conservatory area that we used. Somehow there was a mix up with our booking and it slipped through the net. But the staff managed to accommodate and correct it with some lovely staff coming in extra. We were all hoping for a roast dinner to finish off a family weekend however there was an issue with the supplier. There is Plenty of parking and a beer garden out back. The food was very good quality and none of us could fault it. Best hunters chicken in a long time.”
