Quick info
About The George & Dragon Inn
The George & Dragon Inn is a pub and inn at 51 North St in Chichester, with its guest rooms set behind the bar area. Overnight guests receive free breakfast, and the bar serves beer alongside pub food. The business also operates as a bed and breakfast and a lunch restaurant, so the kitchen serves more than the bar menu alone. A private dining room gives groups a separate space to eat together. Dogs are welcome.

“Good and honest accomodation for the Revival and very good breakfast. Also, the pub food was excellent, try the bangers & mash. Very nice staff.”

“Possibly one of the grimmest rooms we’ve had the displeasure of staying in. The rooms are set behind, what was on the day we arrived, a very rowdy bar area. Our ground floor double room looked like it was stuck in the 80’s but the bathroom was next level. There was black mould everywhere in the shower, the extractor fan didn’t look like it had been cleaned for years with a huge buildup of grime visible, the toilet flush button was broken and the cistern trickled all night, etc etc The supervisor running the bar tried to help but the Inn was fully booked, another room became available later that evening and she did offer it to us but by then we had unpacked and were getting ready to go out. The room wasn’t expensive but for £100 a certain level of basic cleanliness should be expected. On the plus side the staff, particularly the young lad serving breakfast, were nice.”
