  “Cheese and onion cob hastily put together and alot of the cheese spilled out plus they were tight with the butter. It was busy so that must mean something. Some of the hot food looked good as did the cakes. Just a shame about my cob being rushed together.”

  “I have been going to this shop for a long time now but just a lately I do not know what has happened to this shop . It seems to be getting progressively worse , and today has finally made my decision to boycott this shop altogether . I bought two fresh cream scones and the cream was off , so basically just thrown £7.00 in the bin . Thanks very much. .”

  “The food here is amazing. We travel 40mins to this little gem. It is well worth the travel. The meat and potato pie is delicious. The chips are homemade.”

  “I've been coming to this place for years. Not on a daily basis I must admit but if if I'm out and about and fancy some food then this is the only place I go, the food is exemplary and value for money Until today, I called in mid morning today and ordered a small ham salad with no cucumber and a large ba on sausage and tomato, these were to take home with me. 15 minutes later I'm home and ready to tuck into the large butty and my other half had the ham salad cob, HOW VERY DISAPPOINTING WAS THE FOOD, the large bacon,sausage and tomato consisted of 2 sausage, a solitary rasher of bacon and what looked like just 1 small spoon of tomatoes, not a sign of butter anywhere !! The ham salad consisted of a small amount of ham, a slice of tomato, lots of lettuce and 2 of the smallest pieces of onion I've ever seen, again not a sign of butter anywhere. I am naturally disappointed in being served what amounts to very substandard helping of food when compared to the many many butties I've had in the past. Will I ever go back there ? Probably not, unless I go in for some of their meatloaf and chips that was temping me to take it all for my evening meal Oh well lesson learned, if the owners read this please please don't let this shop go down the pan and serve up anything less than your customers are used to.”

  “Passed by here on the way home to nottingham i had the meat and potatoe pie with roast potatoes.my partner had giant yourshire pudding with beef and roast potatoes.the food was lovely good honest homemade food and good portion size. they do a wide range of food all looks great as do the cakes. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick. to all who live close by to lindas store you are very lucky. Next time im anywhere near this shop i will be going back.”
