  “Wow - why have i not been here before. I called in the week and booked a table, simple and quick and friendly staff. arrived just before my booking, my table was ready and waiting for me. drinks were served quickly and the menus given. i told the waitress it was a family birthday "don't you worry leave it with us" i was told (Super friendly) we didn't have to wait long to order and didn't have to wait for food even though the restaurant was packed. all four mains and sides came out together and were all hot. the food is amazing, fresh hot and delicious. staff asked if everything was ok and did we need anything a couple of times. (Fantastic) once finished, plates were cleared and deserts menu supplied. deserts were amazing. before we had finished our deserts, all the staff gathered around the table, turned off the restaurant light and sang happy birthday to my daughter and gave her a cake. the restaurant all clapped (such a great touch) Price wise - four mains, four deserts, three sides and Eight drinks (two were cocktails) including staff tip less, LESS than £150.00 If you haven't been here - YOU NEED TOO. Five stars isn't enough. I will be going back for sure Thank you for making my daughters birthday that little bit more special.”

  “I don’t know where to start with this place. I Facebook messaged the page on a Saturday afternoon at around 3 o’clock as the website stated closed until 4:30. Less than 15 minutes later I had a phone call from a lady suggesting that as they were very busy that night they could fit us in for 5 o’clock (table of 5). We couldn’t make it until 5:15 and we agreed this would work. When we arrived we was greeted by the most welcoming, happy staff I’ve come across. Who clearly are well versed and enjoy what the do, nothing was to much trouble and although very very busy they delivered 100%. Although they were very busy, the staff were always there for service for drinks. The food, atmosphere and service was absolutely on point and I cannot recommend this place enough.”

  “I went here last night as a treat from my boyfriend and to say impressive is an understatement. the food was amazing, the cocktails variety was huge and the service was fast and staff was attentive. i also wanted to give one member of staff, Ruben, a named review as he looked after us most of the time and was very polite and attentive to us and multiple over tables, over all amazing expirence and i will be coming back”

  “Had a really great Mother’s Day meal at Back‑Inn Time. We kicked things off with the potato skins with spicy chicken. I can’t say they were exactly overflowing with chicken, but they were still really tasty and disappeared pretty quickly, which is usually a good sign. For the main I went for the big rack of ribs, and “big” is doing a lot of work here – the portion was absolutely massive. If you turn up hungry, you’ll be in the right place. The ribs themselves were really good and exactly the kind of comforting, messy-in-a-good-way meal you want when ordering ribs. Dessert was cheesecake, which again was very good and rounded things off nicely. Now, this isn’t five-star fine dining where the portions are tiny and the plate looks like a modern art installation. But honestly, that’s part of the charm. The food is really well priced, generous, and you get exactly what you pay for – good, solid comfort food. The service was exceptional and the place has a really warm, friendly vibe that makes it easy to relax and enjoy the evening. My only very minor note: as a 6’4″ bloke, the chairs weren’t the most comfortable fit for me… but that’s probably more of a “me problem” than a restaurant problem. Overall, an easy 5⭐ from me. It’s not trying to be fancy or pretentious – just a welcoming place with good food, great service, and prices that make you feel like you’ve had a win and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.”

  “Have not been here for some years, the place has not changed at all. Great menu and decent food portion size, ribs were the best we have had in some time and good price. Staff are friendly, happy and very attentive, which is quite rare these days.”

  “Absolutely amazing every time we go here. Staff are all very happy and friendly. ( The lady was called Miranda? So polite and friendly!) HUGE selection of drinks and non alcoholic too! Food was all perfect! Interior is so nostalgic and literally takes you back in time! Can't wait to come back!”

  “We visited the restaurant as a family with two adults and two children, and we were very satisfied with everything. The food was excellent, the portions were generous and good value for money. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere of the place was great. The children enjoyed it as well, and our whole family had a lovely time. We can highly recommend this restaurant.”

  “5* across all aspects. SERVICE • As soon as I entered this restaurant, great vibes were made. We were immediately greeted by a kind server, (all of staff in the matter of speaking were kind also). Within seconds, we were directed to our tables and were also immediately given our menus and they even ask which drinks we wanted straight away as well. The drinks then arrived in around 2 minutes of asking which drinks we wanted. I had a Diet Coke. We then waited around 10-15mins before we were asked of what we wanted regarding the main course. I had the “Super Double Deluxe” - more in the “food” section. After I had that. I then had a “Not-so-Sundae”, (chocolate). Finally, when I consumed that, we then asked for the transaction. ~ FOOD • as mentioned already, I had the Super Double Deluxe cheeseburger with bacon, lettuce, and a singular tomato, with accompanying onion rings, fries, garlic bread, salad, and coleslaw. The burger meat itself was just right. Cooked well, yet succulent. The garlic bread with melted cheese top was delicious too. Onion rings were good. The chocolate Sundae with almonds and cream was great. ~ Atmosphere • great vibes within the restaurant, tailored to its name. — NOISE LEVEL • Moderate Visited on 18/01/2026”
