  “Absolutely disgusted with the bag of over cooked duck. Full of dripping fat and smell of burnt oil. Chef's special rice is just alot of stodgy rice and minimal meat, veg. £39 for a bag of over cooked, burnt oil food. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Hurry up and reopen wok u like.”

  “Absolutely love this place. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. It's a family ran business full of care and evident in the food and greeting of the customers. The menu has a great balance of classic Chinese dishes and standout specialties, and every dish we tried was packed with authentic flavor. The highlight was the sizzling beef! Easily one of the best Chinese spots around—highly recommend and will definitely be back.”

  “Hiya right so I usually go to my tried and tested which is much further away. I’ve gave this one a shot a couple times recently because the wife was particularly hungry. Obviously we couldn’t have that. It’s much closer by see. And holy moly has it blown me away. By far the best Chinese in town. Honestly quality has been declining in general in Chelmsford but China Palace, my god. The flavour is unreal.”

  “Very disappointed have ordered from here for years but tonight was awful, ordered for collection (understand its christmas eve and always a busy one for takeaway) but got told 20 minutes ended up waiting another 30 minutes in the shop on top of the 20 quoted. Many people waiting complaining of the same issue and lady behind counter telling people its christmas eve what you expect Well expect you to be honest with collection times then people wouldn't be annoyed. chef out the back shouting and banging poor lady who had a new born at home who needed to be fed being told we will call you when to come back to collect and shes saying I cant as cant go in the car park again due to parking restrictions and shouldn't have to being I came when I was told to then telling the lady you should have told us on the phone you had a new born baby. Like that is something you are expected to do when ordering a takeaway 🤦‍♂️🤣. But to top it off got home and noodle were burnt to hell and no chicken in the chow mein. Chips were like rocks and generally rest of the food was very poor. Never had a bad meal here before but this is not on greed of getting as many people in and rushing orders has lead to loads of annoyed customers and sub standard food.”

  “First time coming here and the food was really good! Was expecting the chicken balls to be ball shape but it wasn’t an issue, still tasted great! Huge portions as well.”

  “Easily the worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. Everything was soaked in grease, tasted awful, and was reheated. Chicken balls tasted of old oil. Couldn’t eat any of it. Never again.”
