  “I’ve been meaning to leave a review for India Lounge for ages, and after getting home from yet another brilliant meal tonight, I thought I’d finally get round to it! I’ve been here with my family, with big groups of friends, and I’ve even been in on my own once 😂 and every single time the food has been impeccable and the service just as good. Shiny and the team always make you feel incredibly welcome. If you’re not quite sure what you fancy, just tell Shiny what sort of thing you like and he’ll speak to the chefs and make sure they make you exactly what you want. Nothing ever seems like too much trouble. That being said, Shiny does take the piss out of me every single time for ordering chips with my curry and insisting on having a cold plate 😂 Apparently both are completely unacceptable, but I’m sticking with them! The food is consistently fantastic, the portions are spot on, and the prices are really reasonable considering the quality of the food and the level of service you get. It’s become one of those places where you know you’re going to have a brilliant meal every time you walk through the door, whether there are two of you, a massive group, or apparently just me sat there on my own 😂 Couldn’t recommend India Lounge enough. See you all again very soon — Shiny, get the cold plate ready! 😂”

  “Yesterday I ordered a butter chicken as part of a takeway order and quite frankly i was very disappointed. As I travel extensively in the south of India, i have had many authentic versions to compare against and i have to say that your version is way off the mark. The sauce was devoid of any real flavour and nothing like what it should be. Although I'm generally a fan of the India Lounge, this is a dish i will avoid in the future. Suggest the chef revisits the recipe.”

  “We went with friends last night. Was our first visit but definitely won’t be our last. We had a lovely evening. I would highly recommend the prawn sizzler it was a 10/10. The service was 10/10 and the atmosphere was 10/10. Looking forward to returning soon.”

  “Food was delicious with a variety of options, atmosphere was fantastic, and service was amazing. I would happily give more stars if I could for the service alone, all staff were polite and friendly, special shout out to Shiny who was just a star and made us all feel welcome and was especially brilliant with the kids. Would highly recommend!”

  “Wow this place is amazing in every aspect. We were a group of 12 celebrating my husbands 50th Birthday. Shiny and all the staff were so attentive and friendly. We really felt looked after by everyone. The service was quick and friendly and the food was lovely . We have never had such good service at a restaurant. We were made to feel very important by everyone which made the evening very special .Thank you again to everyone you are doing a great job and we will definitely be returning very soon 🙂”

  “Visited Indian Lounge in Ramsbottom last night and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The service was absolutely excellent. The owners were incredibly friendly, took the time to chat with us, and gave some great recommendations from the menu which were spot on. The food was amazing – everything was full of flavour and cooked perfectly. What really stood out was the personal touch and genuine hospitality. One of our party is pregnant, and they even brought over some delicious non-alcoholic shots for us to enjoy, which was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. A brilliant atmosphere, outstanding food, and some of the friendliest service we've experienced in a long time. We'll 100% be back and would highly recommend Indian Lounge to anyone looking for great Indian food and exceptional hospitality.”

  “Just enjoyed a delicious meal at this restaurant. Not too busy, service was excellent and friendly staff. There were 9 of us in our party, everyone enjoyed what they ordered and they helpfully bagged up the leftovers to take home. Highly recommended.”
