Customer Review Summary
Chips are what reviewers raise most, and opinions split sharply. Several describe them as undercooked, hard, stale, or a dark orange, while one calls them tasty and another says they were great. The fish divides reviewers too. One praises thin batter, generous portions and a perfect curry sauce, but others describe a large cod so soaked in grease that the paper wrapper fell apart and the batter turned to mush. A battered sausage with pale, off-white batter and a battered spring roll that was greasy and soggy also draw complaints, though the portions are called massive. Negative accounts outnumber positive ones. Delivery is a repeated sore point, with reviewers reporting orders that never arrived, refunds refused, and a claim that an order had already left when it was still waiting for a driver. One reviewer reports feeling ill after eating and mentions scruffy padded jackets worn behind the till. Another says the curry sauce they paid for never made it into the bag.

“Rude and condescending. 2hrs waiting time for delivery that never showed up. lied when I phoned and told me it had already left. When I phoned back 25 mins later because it hadn't arrived, tried to tell me that they were waiting for a driver still.”

“Some of the worst fish and chips I’ve had by a country mile. The large cod was soaked in grease so much so that when I took it out of the paper wrapper the paper fell apart and stuck to the batter which not crispy and golden at all. It just turned to mush when I transferred it onto my plate. The chips were under cooked and a handful of them were hard and anemic. Never will I visit this establishment ever again and I would suggest anyone else to avoid it at all costs. Didn’t even give me my curry sauce which I paid for. Zero rating. O”

“So just bought my lunch from here... bad move .. I dint no what was worse the awful chips or the horrible fish.. I'd imagine there food is good but I just got the krap that had been left there for hours. It was horrible. And all for £6.50.. surly it would make good sense to cook fresh and have happy customers.”
