Customer Review Summary
Falafel is the draw, most often in a wrap, a pitta or a salad box, and reviewers describe it as freshly made to order, flavourful and piled with fresh toppings and sauces. Several call it the best falafel they have tried. One praises the fennel and herbs in a pitta, and another the artichoke hearts, pickles, houmous and tahini in a salad box. Close behind is the owner, described as friendly, passionate and kind, along with generous portions and great value. A chicken schnitzel salad also earns praise as a takeaway, and one reviewer notes the vegan-friendly options. The main complaint comes from one reviewer who was the only customer yet waited a long time while two men made a wrap and fries that were never ordered, followed by a drawn-out exchange over payment. That reviewer still enjoyed the grilled falafel wrap and the warm crunchy fries. Desserts get a mention too, with homemade brownies and orange polenta cake.

“These Uncs be slinging very tasty Falafel in a lively hole-in-the-wall. Because I came at 11 on a Friday, I think they were a little off their game. I asked for a large falafel box (£10). I was the only customer the entire time. THEN TWO MEN TOOK 30 MINUTES TO MAKE ME A WRAP & FRIES. Which I didn’t order. Of course I said nothing. Another five minutes were spent haggling the payment method (bring cash) and prepping the takeaway. I ate the warm crunchy golden fries first. Perfection. Then devoured the absolutely flavourful grilled falafel wrap, piled high with delicious fresh toppings and a dynamic mixture of sauces. This spot is definitely worth trying, but bring your patience and never come here in a rush.”

“Best falafel I've ever tried! If you are local, you must try the falafel Pita with all toppings and Tahini sauce. Heck, even if you aren't local, you must get over here and give this a try! Putting all other falafel restaurants to shame, you can get freshly made falafel with a range of delicious herbs and spices. I especially loved the fennel, I honestly don't like fennel normally, but having it in a Pita with all the falafel and herbs, completely transformative experience! Make sure to give SunRa kitchen a visit if you like large portions, good prices, and fresh food. Food quality = 10/10 Customer service = 10/10 Atmosphere = 10/10 Overall = 10/10”
