Customer Review Summary
The friendly women who cook and serve draw the most praise. Reviewers call them welcoming, patient and happy to chat, with banter kept going even when the shop is busy. Diners name the steak and onion sub, the big baps, hashbrowns as a lovely extra, a breakfast sub roll, and a mocha one reviewer liked enough to ask for a second. Several mention a wide choice of hot and cold sandwiches, decent coffee, decent prices and quick service on pick up orders. Two reviewers report poor visits. One describes stale bread, cheap low quality produce and extras that push the cost up, and says staff laughed when they raised it. Another says the bacon looked boiled, the egg sat completely outside the sandwich and the service was the worst they had seen. Reviewers also single out the food trailer, which one groundworker says is brought out to their work site, and which another hired to serve hot food the morning after a birthday festival.

“I'm not sure how anyone rated this place highly... The produce is the cheapest and lowest quality. Also STALE bread. For a sandwich shop that is a big let down. Also not cheap when you add any extras. Avoid EDIT in response to the response. I took this up with your staff at the time, but rather than hear my thoughts, they turned it around whilst laughing and made me sure I wasnt welcome anymore, despite being very understanding and decent Thanks so much for the encouragement in finding a decent sausage buttie in somerset...we can live in hope”

“I recently hired Clair to cater the morning after at a birthday festival and she was amazing. Her little trailer is perfect for events like this as she can served hot food from anywhere! The baps really were big and the hashbrowns a lovely extra. I'd highly recommend food from the shop or trailer!”
