Customer Review Summary
Pizzarova's pizzas are what reviewers return to, and hot honey toppings come up most, with the pepperoni and hot honey and the chorizo and hot honey both singled out. Close behind is the sourdough base, called easy to digest, along with the chewy, crispy crust and quality toppings like fat anchovies, capers and olives. The monthly specials draw praise too, including a fennel "sausage" pizza with lemon and herb aioli that works with vegan cheese, and a vegan spiced lamb. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The main criticism is takeaway and gluten free pizza. One reviewer found two vegan Margheritas cold on collection with an overly rich tomato sauce, and another got a gluten free ham and pineapple with unmelted cheese, a soggy, too thick base and a dry, defrosted taste. Staff tried to reheat it but it stayed undercooked. Another reviewer found the regular base a little thin but crispy. One diner said a mixed up order was remade instantly with no fuss.

“Such an amazing dine out experience! The staff are so accommodating and so kind. Had a mix up with an order and they instantly made another one, no fuss. Our servers Juliet and Charlotte, and they were so lovely. Highly recommend!”

“I have been going to Pizzarova for many years, it is a solid reliable favourite for deliciousness and relaxation. I went on my first date with my boyfriend of 2 years here and returned recently for a date night where they made us special heart shaped pizzas!! The dough is exceptional, dips to die for & overall a huge winner. Thank you Pizzarova xx”

“The Pizza was delicious. I forgot the name but it was the Nr. 4 with chicken. The crust is nice, thick and chewy. The floor is a bit too thin for my liking but it makes up for it by being crispy. The only thing i regret is asking for spinach to not be there. It was my fault as i oversaw it on the menu and i actually like spinach, just not on pizza. All in all it‘s an interesting place. I sat alone and felt really comfortable. The WLAN is free and you don‘t need to „log-in“ aka fill out a form with all of your personal details (btw, just lie if you need to fill it out. They never check if it‘s real so you should protect your data and be Joe Doe with a random tel. Number and email.) The staff were really friendly too. They ask you half way if everything is alright, sweet of em‘. The drinks are alright, they‘re from a not so well known company. The coke is tasting normal but the aftertaste is a bit strange. Still, it was good. Would recommend.”

“Absolutley amazing. I had the chorizo and hot honey pizza and it tasted incredible, the staff were all so lovely and the atmosphere was wonderful, I loved the design of the interior and whoever made the music playlist has great taste! Would definitely recommend!”

“We ordered two vegan Margherita pizzas for takeaway collection. I really enjoyed the vegan cheese- it melted well and had a great texture - but unfortunately the pizzas themselves were disappointing. The tomato sauce tasted overly rich and heavy for a pizza sauce, which overpowered the rest of the flavours rather than feeling fresh and balanced. The pizzas also felt surprisingly cold by the time we collected them, despite it being a warm summer evening and us picking them up at the scheduled time. I really wanted to love it because Pizzarova has such a great reputation, but based on this experience the pizzas just weren't particularly flavourful or enjoyable.”
