Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the food, with the lamb dishes and curries singled out, including lamb cooked with pineapple and lychee and lamb sag with pilau rice. Diners describe the sauces as outstanding and the flavours and spices as more varied than at other Indian restaurants. One notes the menu is organised by spice level, and another says a late order arrived quickly and piping hot. Close behind is the bring-your-own arrangement, which several say keeps the bill reasonable, with corkage mentioned and non-alcoholic drinks available. Several say booking is essential on busy weekend nights, and one says a large group made the room too noisy for conversation. The recurring complaint is about staff hovering. One reviewer felt staff lingering at the table so that plates could be cleared, another describes plates and cutlery taken away mid-meal, and a third was told by two staff members to stand in different spots while waiting for a collection order. One also found the food lacking flavour for the price. Others still call the waiters friendly, and one family says staff instantly agreed to let them decorate a table with a balloon for a birthday.

“One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to so far. Very good service, friendly waiters and food that tasted incredible so flavourful. 😋😋”

“Food is 10/10 but service today was quite rude. Waited for collection where there is very little room for customers to stand and I kept out of the way as much as I could. I was then told by one staff member ‘stand over there so you’re not in the way’ didn’t realise I was. I did this and then got told by another staff member to move to where I’d just been stood. I came at the collection time I was given. Paying customers should be treated with basic respect and this has made me much less likely to return now.”

“Always great food and service. It's a BYO so the bill is always reasonable (corkage only £1.50 each). There was a large group in who were very noisy (not rowdy) so not easy to have a conversation, thus 4 star for atmosphere. Always busy so booking is essential.”

“I heard good things from several people about this curry house . Then my cousin suggested we go there as he had been before and said it was lovely. So we went 18-5-26 . Well all I can say is was well worth travelling as I live miles away . The food was put of this world . The chicken was quailty and the sauce outstanding . The service was brilliant waiters and staff were really pleasant . We even had a coffee after and that was nice . I have been to many curry houses o er the years but I can not remember going to a better one than this . I would confidently recommend this restaurant to anyone .”

“I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant and unfortunately felt quite uncomfortable during my visit. From the moment we sat down, the service felt disrespectful and intrusive. The waiters repeatedly came to our table and started moving our plates and taking away cutlery without even asking if we were finished. It felt very rude and disruptive, as we were still in the middle of eating. Basic courtesy like asking before clearing the table seemed completely ignored. What made the experience worse was the way we were treated compared to other tables. It genuinely felt like we were being singled out, and the constant interruptions made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, almost as if we were being rushed out. It left a strong impression of discrimination and lack of respect toward customers. On top of that, the food itself was extremely disappointing. The dishes lacked flavor, were poorly prepared, and did not live up to the prices being charged. Overall, the combination of poor service, intrusive behavior from the staff, and bad food made this one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I would not recommend this place and will definitely not be returning.”
