About Mowgli Street Food Bristol
Mowgli Street Food Bristol is an Indian restaurant at 35 Corn St in Bristol, open daily. Some tables have swing-style seating that overlooks the restaurant, and the kitchen serves complimentary yoghurt chaat bombs. The menu includes Gunpowder Chicken and Fenugreek Kissed Fries, and a sharing menu lets a table split its dishes between everyone seated. Non-meat eaters have options across the menu, so mixed groups can order together. Dogs are welcome, which suits owners who want to bring their pet along for a meal.

Customer Review Summary
Diners most often return to the chaat bombs, the complimentary yoghurt starters that several praise as tasty, though a few wish the sharing menu came with more per person, three each or four to six between two. Close behind are the fenugreek kissed fries, the Calcutta tangled greens, the Mowgli slaw and wrap, gunpowder chicken, Goan fish curry and lamb curry. Reviewers describe the food as flavourful, with plenty of options for non-meat eaters, and repeatedly credit servers for friendly, helpful recommendations. One server even tracked down a favourite dish no longer on the menu. Others call the decor and lighting beautiful. The sharpest dissent is one reviewer who found the butter chicken bland, the dal like plain boiled lentils and a complimentary potato curry too sour to eat. That diner also called the swing seating uncomfortable and the room hot with poor ventilation. Another notes cocktails on the expensive side and toilets up several flights of stairs. One visitor left with vouchers for free chaat bombs and plans to book again.

“What a beautiful restaurant, sat outside for a few drinks at first , went for a walk and came back for dinner at Mowglis. The guys were amazing right from the start , allowed us to sit outside to enjoy the atmosphere of the street. The tastes and textures of the food were insane, the calcutta tangled greens and mowgli slaw a huge fav , the mowgli wrap was so delicious and the fenugreek kissed fries just wow. “Absolutely amazing experience at Mowgli Street Food! We ordered around 7 different dishes between us and every single one was unbelievably nice, full of flavour, beautifully presented, and completely different from anything else in Bristol. It’s honestly impossible to pick a favourite because everything was incredible. What made the evening even better was our waitress, Alia. She was so friendly, kind, and attentive throughout the whole meal. Nothing was too much trouble, she helped us with recommendations, checked in at the perfect times, and genuinely made us feel so welcome. Customer service like that really makes a place stand out. The atmosphere, food, and service were all 10/10. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable meal!”

“Mowgli is all about how Indians eat at home and on their streets. She was born to feed the raw need Indians have for tiffins full of fresh bright intense flavour. Mowgli is not about the intimate, hushed dining experience. It is about the smash and grab zing of healthy, light, virtuosic herbs and spices. The simple dishes of a Mowgli menu are a million miles away from the curry stereotype. These dishes convey the truth that real Indian food is extremely healthy, often vegan and always packed with fresh flavour.”
