  “I came here with a friend and we ordered the Beef Brisket Rice and the Roast Duck & Char Siu Double Combo Rice. I can honestly say this is the best Hong Kong-style fast food I’ve had in Bristol. The roast duck and beef brisket were served piping hot, and everything was fresh, tender and juicy. The duck had crispy skin with succulent meat, while the beef brisket was soft, flavourful and melted in the mouth. The portions were generous and the rice went perfectly with the sauce. The food came out quickly, the quality exceeded our expectations, and we’ll definitely be coming back many times. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Hong Kong-style roast meat in Bristol!”

  “For anyone looking for a quick summary of this review: unprofessional staff, poor service, and bad hygiene standards. I was quite surprised by the overwhelmingly positive reviews about service in this restaurant, as our experience was nothing like what we encountered. During our meal, we found an unidentified object in the food that looked very much like an insect. We understand it may not actually have been an insect and may have come from the pot, but either way, it simply should not have been in food served to customers. The staff’s response was even more disappointing. Rather than acknowledging our concern or attempting to handle the situation professionally, we were simply told that it was “normal” and came from the pot. The solution was simply changing the lettuce. There was no apology, no reassurance, and no genuine attempt to address the issue. The impression we were left with was that they did not believe there was anything wrong in the first place. To make matters worse, a large green fly was flying around throughout our meal and landed on our dishes. The staff eventually offered us a refund, but it was done with an attitude that made us feel as though we were causing trouble simply by raising a legitimate concern. We were told that flies were “normal” and beyond their control. While I appreciate that flies can occasionally get indoors, I do not think customers should be expected to accept them landing on their food as normal. It certainly did not leave us with much confidence in the restaurant’s hygiene standards. I don’t know whether the attitude we experienced was simply because the restaurant was busy or whether we were just unfortunate that day. I sincerely hope it is not the experience other customers receive. For balance, the duck rice itself was decent. Unfortunately, the attitude we experienced was far more memorable than the food, and it made for a very disappointing visit.”

  “The food at this Hong Kong roast meat restaurant is absolutely delicious, and the quality is excellent. It can get quite busy, so it’s best to arrive early and queue for a table. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving authentic Hong Kong-style roast meats!”
