Customer Review Summary

The spicy chicken burger is what reviewers return for, with several describing its spicy kick, juicy chicken and a chilli sauce and mayo they liked, some travelling from Manchester and Birmingham to try it. Chips and wings come close behind. Diners call the chips cooked just right and the wings juicy, and one says they pack a punch. A few mention two-piece chicken that was soft and juicy, and several returning after 7 to 20 years say the taste hasn't changed. Service is described as quick and friendly, though one reviewer found the staff rude. The complaints are specific. One diner got rock hard, cold chips that seemed to be re-fried, with oil that looked dark. Another found the wings' meat a bit pink and the breading soggy, and called the fried chicken average. One reviewer says late-night visits leave only leftovers and describes very small seating. One returning customer was pleased to pay just £4.50 for a spicy burger meal.

“Visited here 9th May 2026. Got a spicy burger meal and my god did it bring back the memories. Didn’t have a Salah’s for around 7-8 years and it really did take me down memory lane. Really good to see the quality hasn’t changed. Burger had that spicy kick just how I remember it and the chips were spot on today too. Really good value also at £4.50. Cant go wrong. Quick service too.”

“Let's get right to it. I traveled all the way from Manchester just to try their burger. It was excellent! The burger was really good, and it was juicy. I ordered the spicy version, but it wasn't extremely spicy at all. The burger was packed with flavor, featuring a delicious juicy chicken patty and moist buns that weren't toasted. The wings were actually quite decent, although the meat inside was a bit pink, and the breading felt a bit soggy. However, the taste was definitely there. The fried chicken was average, nothing special. Overall, I'd rate the experience a 6.5 out of 10. I'd definitely recommend trying their burgers if you have the chance. The staff were also kind of rude.”

“Came here yesterday. Ordered 2 spicy burger meals to go. Considering they were busy they were very quick. Driving from birmingham to Bradford and having this was well worth it. Deffo recommend it! If you're from brum its basically UK fried but 1000 times better! Chilli sauce was so nice and the mayo. Fries were cooked to perfection no crispy fries or soggy ones either. Deffo would come here again!”
