  “Very disappointing. Ordered 2 burgers, 1 Americana, with cheese on the chips - when it came there was no cheese on chips, and we'd paid extra for that. 2nd burger was a 'bolognaise' burger, but it was keema curry, not bolognaise. Awful. Waste of £16. Avoid. Only positive was that it arrived in 30 mins, when told 45-60 mins for delivery.”

  “After order from here received my food and both were under cooked chicken was still red and chicken in the burgers was under cooked was not able to eat it so was a waste of money I would avoid this takeaway completely unless you was to end up with food poising”

  “The pizza and fast food shop provides a good mix of quick bites and satisfying meals. Their pizza is tasty with fresh toppings and a crispy base.Service is usually fast, and the prices are reasonable.”

  “These are apparently korma curries when challenged was told has been the same for 10 years even though I had a beautiful chicken tikka korma the week before that was correct”

  “That good half way through eating I just had to put my cutlery down and leave a review.( Not usually me) ..chicken so tender, bursting with flavour...a PROPER curry...salad so fresh and crispy plenty of it ... the food was HOT stayed hot whilst eating...I am very impressed...will definitely be my new go to now..!!! If you haven't tried it or thinking of trying believe me you won't be disappointed!!!”

  “Used spice hut twice recently after giving them a wide berth for a few years. Delivery was fast which did make me doubt the food quality and freshness but both times food was fresh, hot and delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family”

  “(CLECHEATON CURRY CLUB)... I was recommended to the spice hut by family and friends who enjoyed the food from here. Recently just moved to oakenshaw of course on 3 occasions I tried....1st occasion Tikka chicken medium and pillau rice.. shammy and sheikh....,Blown out of the water. The wife got mixed starter enough for me and my lad to finish the day after. Nice quality and not tough... Second occasion. Chicken curry medium and prawns.........Shammy and sheikh....Beautiful but leaked the packaging looked like a oil spill.. .But still food amazing... 3rd. Chicken and prawns curry....shammy... There is no 5 star purely because spillage that was obvious to delivery driver.... THE SPICE HUT I feel is a quality establishment delivering good quality food and have recommended to my curry club members to try between ourselfs we have 160 yrs in appreciation of a good curry.   “Our local take away for pizza's burgers, and curry. Weekly/ fortnightly. Always been regularly customers but recently noticed its not the same standard... pizza bases are burnt/black, and also chips seem to have old and new batch mixed together some look really scabby like they from week before 🤦‍♀️ and often forget to not add green chillies which we specifically ask shame there's no option to post pictures.”

  “Use spice hut regularly for kebabs usually which are always good. Recently started getting the curry meal deal which has been excellent. Portions really good plenty for 2 people to share(if not 3) The staff always cater well for my dairy allergy which is great”
