  “I came here after cycling the day along the Bournemouth coast line. I went because they advertised happy hour on cocktails. When I went in he said that the cocktail on menu was not included because he couldn't afford to do those and said that he had fixed ones with either tequila vodka and whisky or something so I felt advertising was a little false on happy hour definitely just go to bed at one if you want cocktails. I ordered a starters and main which was brought out to me within 5 mins now that is fast which means the meat is pre cooked as I wanted well done it doesn't take 5 mins I felt I was rushed out of this restaurant for what I don't know the place was empty I just wanted to relax but was put in a position where I was forced to eat and be out within 25mins. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO RELAX they only want fast turn around a on tables and they don't like single diners. Also I'm pretty sure that I was given rumo steak and not rib eye but I was too tired to moan. A rib eye has an eye in middle this was just straight rump. All in all I just felt robbed as I wanted a relaxed experience not a super rushed one. The cocktail was ok but alcohol content was not there I would like to say go here but for me I will be avoiding this place try miller and carter just spend the little extra I wish I did!!!”

  “We can’t thank the team at Funki Griller enough for catering both our pre-wedding dinner and post-wedding BBQ. Adam, Izi and Rhys were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From helping us plan the menus to cooking and hosting on both days, everything was handled with professionalism, warmth and incredible attention to detail. Our pre-wedding dinner was a delicious three-course meal that completely exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by all of our guests. The following day, the team catered a BBQ for over 50 people, and once again delivered outstanding food and service. Throughout the weekend, so many of our guests commented on how delicious the food was and how friendly, welcoming and hardworking the Funki Griller team were. They played such a special part in our celebrations and helped make the whole weekend unforgettable. We would not hesitate to book Funki Griller again and couldn’t recommend them more highly.   “Me and my partner went for my birthday and we were not disappointed! Service was unbelievable food came out so quick Steak was cooked to perfection meat was lovely and tender so juicy!!! drinks were unreal They even came out with a brownie and a candle and the live singer sang happy birthday. My partner said it was the best thing he’s ever eaten!!!”

  “We went to the Funki Griller as it was across the road from our hotel and because of the great reviews. I had a fillet steak and my husband had rump steak, both with peppercorn sauce. We were not disappointed. By far the best steak we have had. Our compliments to the chef. Lovely, friendly staff made it an experience we look forward to repeating. I highly recommend going there.”

  “Funki Griller with its gorilla-themed brand had me at the name! BRILLIANT!! Great reviews further sold me... but nothing beat showing up, seeing this fab place with my own eyes; experiencing the professional and friendly service; and last but absolutely not least, enjoying the delicious food and its presentation.   “The whole experience from walking in, until leaving was Outstanding. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the whole Restaurant is pure. The Staff are all friendly, attentive, assistive and smiley. That's all before we had any food. My husband watched his Steak being cooked on The Griller Cam and he said 'Its the Best Steak he's ever had'. Funnily enough my Vegetarian Meal was also the best Vegetarian Meal I've ever eaten from a Restaurant, which is Ironic as it's Steak House. The Icing on the cake was the Bill, it was very reasonable. All in all, it's was a Most Excellent visit.”

  “Amazing food, cooked to perfection!! Went on a Sunday and had a roast with my partner, the waitress was friendly and welcoming with nothing being too much trouble. We watched our food being freshly made and it was so tasty and more than enough for us both. Good price for the quality of food we had and easy location to get yo, not far from the beach. Would definitely go back again.”
