  “My partner and I came here for our anniversary and honestly this was one of the best steaks we’ve eaten! The atmosphere, food and service cannot be faulted. If you’re reading this and considering coming here, please do! It’s a lovely family owned local business. The only issue we had is how far it is from where we’re from! We will definitely come again.”

  “Absolutely love this place! The best steak in Dorset. Family run, small, intimate, a real treat for a special night out! We went for the cote de bouf this time and it was super tasty, peppercorn and blue cheese sauce with nice veggies and chips to dip. Can’t beat it If you want a the best steak of your life, go here”

  “Incredible meal here, service was amazing. We walked in with no booking late on a Saturday and they got us a table straight away. We ordered a share cote de boeuf and it was exceptional, super tasty and big portions. Definitely recommend and will visit again!”

  “I had booked a table for my dads 50th birthday, the overall restaurant was beautiful very warm and welcoming. The food was incredible! I’ve had a southern fried chicken Burger was amazingly served, whilst my parents had the steak they said it was the best steak they had it was very filling and overall amazing. I had a little talk with one of the ladies if they could do something special for my dads 50th birthday and they came out with a dessert and a candle with music playing my dad got emotional we all loved this restaurant and how they did everything, food was delicious people very kind, we will for sure be coming back! Thank you for a wonderful experience.”

  “The Westbourne Grill House is positioned out of the way from the main part of the high street which I guess makes it a hidden gem. As soon as you walk in you get the vibe that it is a cosy and warm place. The service went above an beyond to fit us in as we didn't book in advance and would recommend doing so if you go. Once we were sat down we had a couple moments to look at the drinks menu, its not the biggest but has good options for any kind of drink you might like. Then the food, starters came out in good time and tasted amazing, I went for the pulled pork. For my main I had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection and have only received a steak as good as this in one other place. Overall the experience was amazing and would highly recommend coming here as you won't be disappointed.”

  “me and my partner came here for our anniversary dinner and shared the 30oz cote de boeuf. it was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious, well worth the price. highly recommend booking in advance as this place is very popular and gets booked quickly. we booked this dinner 2 months ago to be on the safe side!”

  “We were looking for a restaurant to go for dinner and i saw review of Westbourne grill house and it was good and we decided to give it a try. I must say the restaurant lived up to its great reviews,my hubby ordered a sirloin steak and I ordered a seabass,they both came with chips. The food was delicious ! I ordered an apple tart tartin with salted icecream for desert and hubby had mixed icecream,which were both lovely. We made a reservation before going ,service was great,staff were friendly and attentive. Nice and cosy restaurant, we would definitely be back !”

  “Last minute date night and my husband really wanted to try Westbourne Grill as he heard so much great reviews from his colleagues, called at 6pm, & luckily we managed to get a table reservation for 8:30pm It was busy and packed, not overly loud & it was cosy. We ordered the squid & crispy pork belly for starters. One criticism is the portion was very small but it doesn’t help that it was plated in a big plate, never less it was delicious Wasn’t long wait for our steaks to arrive. Both of our steaks were seasoned and cooked absolutely perfectly, it was very moorish, fries were addictive as it had the most amazing seasoning ~ absolutely perfect!!! Just gutted that we had no room for desserts, we will definitely come back very soon. Thank you for excellent service, great hosts, cosy atmosphere and outstanding food!!”
