  “My husband and I never ate here, however we always had take away. We “discovered” Smile Grill years ago when we were living in Bournemouth, and even now when we live a bit far from it we are frequent customers. The food has always been/ it is freshly cooked, very tasty, the portions are generous, and we always been welcomed with smiles.”

  “It doesn't even deserve one star. Before they sold this place the food and the service was good however when they sold it everything got worst, Some of there food was burned and their chicken wrap had only 2 small pieces of meat, i have been their more then 10 times and everytime it was getting worst and worst their prices got significantly went up and their food quality was soo bad. the spoons, forks and their knifes were dirty.”

  “Assalamo alaicum wa rakhmathullah wa barrakatho hoo , this is a beautiful dining experience- I visited with my brother on one occasion , and I simply had to return the very next day with my wife and daughter. There is much more to this wonderful restaurant than the delicious food, The sparkly glistening spotless environment, the kind courteous caring personnel, and the delightful thoughtful decor and layout. There is more, there is indeed much more. The Chef himself came to visit our table on both occasions, and even offered additional, courtesy delights, just for us to sample and to provide feedback. We would. Be more than happy to give 10 stars if that word to be a viable option, unless it is not, but what we can do is definitely return here time and time again to enjoy this atmosphere, this food, and the delightful personnel. Leaving the nicest attribute to the last, we would have to say that the hijab wearing young lady who served as was nothing short of perfect, and we wish that we see her and people like her on our return visits, which will be frequent and many Inshallah.”

  “I had a great experience at Smile Grill! The food was hot, fresh, and really delicious. You can tell they take pride in serving quality meals. The two girls on staff were incredibly caring and welcoming. They served everything with such beautiful smiles — it instantly brought smiles to our faces too. Their positive attitude made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend Smile Grill for both great food and warm, friendly service! 😊”

  “I went to this as Afghanistani restaurant, when I was in Bournemouth for few months and I absolutely loved this place. Everyday fresh food, lots and lots of variety. Price range also reasonable even, cheaper than other restaurants on the same road (Charminster Rd). There's a traditional Afghanistani style sitting space at the back of the restaurant where you can sit and extend your legs feeling like sitting in your own living room. You can also have a traditional Afghanistani style green tea at the end of your meal. Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place.”

  “Our recent visit to Smile Grill during our family day out for the Bournemouth Air Show and a relaxing beach experience left us with smiles all around. We scouted several dining options in the area, but Smile Grill's food instantly caught our attention. The mouth-watering offerings showcased a blend of flavours that we couldn't resist. Smile Grill pleasantly surprised us with its reasonable pricing. It ensured that our family could enjoy a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. While the portions were generally good, we felt that the fries accompanying the Half Chicken could have been a bit more generous. However, the real star of the show was the Kabuli Pilau with Lamb Shank—a must-try that exceeded our expectations. The establishment's cleanliness and ample space at the back made it an ideal spot for families. We appreciated the effort to create a welcoming environment. While the overall décor could benefit from an update, it's important to note that the ambiance didn't take away from the fantastic dining experience. A little refresh combined with the exceptional food would undoubtedly work wonders. It's worth mentioning that Smile Grill offers halal food and a range of vegetarian options, catering to various dietary preferences. The owner and staff at Smile Grill deserve special mention for their politeness and helpfulness. Their warm and attentive service added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. We will be back again on our next visit.”

  “Ordered a burger meal and only a handful of fries given in the " meal" , See pictures. Berger itself was bland. Niece didn't even finish the six chicken nuggets she had. Rice had too much seasoning in it. A positive note was that they have a sign offering to give meals to homeless people, nice touch, see my video. Nothing to Smile about when I visited yesterday 25th August.”

  “Please don't be put off by first impressions! Usually you'll only find men of a certain influence frequenting smile grill, but I took my daughter and her two cousins here. We were well looked after by the staff, although to begin with we did have a few odd stares from the group of men sitting at another table. Let's be frank, this is a good outlet selling halal food so it attracts mostly Islamic customers, bit the food is fantastic! Looks like it could do with a deep clean, but I've been several times and I have only ever gotten great food! The chicken is out of this world! Sit down and get some soup and hummus with freshly baked flat breads. Totally yummy! They do take out too! Fairly priced too!”
