  “Had lunch here twice whilst in Soutbborne for a few days. Great atmosphere, great food and great service. Food and drink well priced and staff were really kind and attentive to our dog providing treats, water and cuddles. Would highly recommend.”

  “Always a great place to go for a drink or a meal at any time of day. They have great coffee, a good range of beers, a really good menu and a fantastic breakfast too. It's consistently good every time I've been and is probably my favourite place in Southbourne.”

  “We love the food and the vibe in this place. We have only ever been for brunch and have never been disappointed. The only frustration is we always have to order from the bar as signal for doing table order never works for us. Food always tastes clean and fresh.”

  “Friendly and enthusiastic service can really make a place. The Ludo lounge has a great atmosphere but what made it for me was Toni, who was genuinely helpful and friendly. I only had a couple of cakes, which were delicious, so can't really comment on the rest of the menu but really enjoyed the interior, atmosphere and friendly vibe.”

  “Quite small for a Loungers (compared to some of the ones I've visited). Very good food, but beer selection could be better. I had the Korean chicken and half a beer for under £14. My nephew enjoyed his burger. £4 for a cola seemed steep. Interesting roof terrace. Tip: be careful washing your hands in the gents. The torrent is akin to a small Niagra Falls.”

  “Great pub quiz on a Monday night. Typical lounge pub decor which is just like you to expect perfect. Staff are friendly. There’s a good variety of beer on tap. I did didn’t eat so I couldn’t comment on that. They are a pet friendly. They also child friendly - I never some young children present that were sprinting through the restaurant and making a lot of noise - which made it difficult to hear the quiz questions at times. Parking can be a little bit tricky. Free street parking from 7 pm.”

  “Meals are very good value, the big breakfast was very tasty. Staff friendly and helpful. We don't live around here but few times a year we stay at The Commodore so will definitely come back to Ludo Lounge. We have today come back exactly a year after the first time coming here. Still highly recommended for food especially”

  “Dog friendly cafe. Dogs are welcome inside the shop. Attentive staff, food came very quickly and it was very tasty. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the vibe is really nice. Lovely sun light comes through the glass ceiling and different seating options. Prices are reasonable. Will be coming back.”

  “We’ve never been disappointed with our food experience here after numerous visits. Atmosphere is very good, the music and surroundings always make me feel relaxed. The staff know what they are doing. Tried many of their lunches and breakfasts both vegetarian and meat. Beyond meat burger is a must. I love their veggie burrito. I also had a Cherry Bakewell cocktail and loved it. Everything is made so well and is modern and healthy.”
