“Because we weren't sure what the standard of food would be like, we opted for the Taste of 1805 set menu for two. At £53.50 per person, it’s certainly not cheap, but any hesitation about the price vanished the moment the food started arriving. Starters: 1805 Mixed Platter & Crispy Duck with Pancakes. Mains: Crispy Prawn with Cashew Nuts & Dry Chilli, Stir-Fried Chicken with Black Bean Sauce. Sides: Baby Broccoli with Olive Leaf Sauce & Egg Fried Rice. As soon as the 1805 Mixed Platter landed on our table, we knew we were in for a treat; the presentation and aromas made it immediately clear that the rest of the dishes would be exceptional. The portions throughout the night were incredibly generous, and every single dish delivered on flavour. 1805 is a very impressive venue with high-quality food and attentive service to match. It completely justifies its premium price tag. We won't just be passing by anymore—we will definitely be back!”

“Always my favourite restaurant. The staff are so nice and professional. The food is always good. We went out for a quiet meal for 2 tonight and I highly recommend the Belly Pork for mains and soft shell crab and xiao long bao for starters. But I do love everything on their menu.”
