Customer Review Summary

Delivery delays dominate, with reviewers describing waits stretching past two hours and one order arriving thirty minutes late missing a dish. One reviewer recounts being pressured by phone and text over a £3.50 delivery fee after that missing item. Another calls the chicken satay bland and watery. Still, one visitor praised a £60 order as hot and fresh, with an off-menu dish made on request.

“Delivery advised at 50-60 mins, over two hours before food arrived with no particular reason for delays other than a poorly ran operation”

“Extremely poor customer service. Called at 6pm for delivery and no mention of an ETA or how busy they were. Called again at 7.30 for an update on our delivery and was told it got busy AFTER we ordered so our order will be going out with the next bunch of orders. I cancelled the order as the kids had to be fed. I wonder how these cash only businesses will cope, with poor their customer service, once the government begins it's crackdown”

“If I could leave no stars I would… Placed an order (for the first time) online before the restaurant opened, to come at 6pm, and was pleasantly surprised to find delivery was an option on checkout. No delivery fee was calculated or mentioned (important for later in this tale). I still called when they opened to double check because my address is in a funny place so wanted to be sure. Was told yes no problem (and no mention of a delivery fee). Order hadn’t arrived by 6:30 so called to check, was told driver would be there shortly (no mention of delivery fee) and he arrived a couple of mins later. Looking at other reviews it’s a miracle it was only 30 mins late. No mention of a delivery fee by driver either. Got to the food and found a dish missing. Called restaurant. Got a barely-there apology and asked if I wanted it sending out (no option of refund offered). On asking how long it might take, since other food had arrived and would go cold, was also offered the option to pick it up. With no refund option forthcomig, I said please deliver it and we’ll have as leftovers. Set about sorting the food and a few mins later found 4 MISSED CALLS from the restaurant… answered on the 5th time. Woman said ‘you haven’t paid for delivery’ to which I answered ‘ok, no delivery fee was shown when I ordered’. Was told (in rude tone - throughout the call) I would have to pay the £3.50 delivery to get my missing meal. When I pointed out that my order had been messed up and surely for this reason the delivery fee should be waived, was told ‘our drivers need to make a living too’. At this point I hung up. She tried to call me back 3 MORE TIMES. Then TEXTED me. To say i would have to pay the delivery fee to get my missing item. I would have happily paid the delivery fee had a) the charge been added when I placed the order (how was I to know whether there should or shouldn’t be one?) and/or b) any modicum of customer service had been demonstrated by the person who called and/or c) I’d been asked in a friendly, polite tone and not had a messed up order held to ransom. To be phoned multiple times, even after ending a call, and then to send a text message is frankly intrusive. Absolutely astonished. Not sure I’ve ever dealt with anyone quite like it. Shame, the food was half decent - obviously won’t be going back.”

“Had a delivery from here while visiting family. Food selection was fab and was an item not on menu that when asked they didn’t even hesitate to make for us. We had a £60 order all the food was Hot and Fresh, they did forget the fried rice …”
