About Baker's
Baker's is a modern British restaurant and bar at 247 Blackburn Rd in Egerton, Bolton, where bottomless brunch gives groups of friends a long, unhurried way to start the day. The kitchen serves breakfast and lunch, with a fish and chips and a Philly steak ciabatta among the dishes. Cocktails and Sunday roasts are on offer too, and the gin cooler gin and tonic is one of the drinks poured at the bar. Orders are paid for up front, and a waitress brings the food to the table. Customer Review Summary
Bottomless brunch is what draws the most mentions, with reviewers describing a celebratory night out and a gin cooler one called among the best gin and tonics they have had. Food comes up close behind, including a Philly steak ciabatta with tender steak and a generous filling, and a fish and chips portion so large one diner asked for a doggy bag. Breakfast and Sunday morning coffee are also praised as nice, and several describe the staff as friendly and welcoming, with one server singled out as attentive and efficient. The garden is mentioned as an unadvertised place to eat. The main complaint is parking, with a few reviewers finding it difficult to get a space nearby, and one notes the stairs to the toilet are hard for anyone unsteady on their feet. One first-time visitor was unhappy with the pay-first approach when sitting outside and described a flat white that tasted only of milk. Another rated service merely okay. Regulars note a diner who arrived shortly before closing still received exceptional food and service.

“We eat fairly regularly at Baker’s and would highly recommend but today we arrived 45 minutes before closing and the food and service was exceptional. Heather served us with her usual efficiency and added humour too. All the staff are friendly and very efficient. Well done Baker’s.”

“Since bakers opened we have been saying we would visit and never made it until this weekend. Food was good service was okay. The place is very clean and looks beautiful. The Bottomless brunch menu looks great so we will likely be back to give this a try. There is a garden that tou can eat in. It isnt well advertised but its worth knowing about especially in this weather”

“Visited for the first time. Wanted to sit outside as the weather was good. They were very much more bothered about pay first pay first. Ok paid first but even the service and coffee was terrible. Flat white and it was only milk. Don’t think it’s for me to go back again. But hey ho. We all learn from mistakes. Maybe something for the owner to consider.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Baker's in Egerton is a real hidden gem for lunch. I had the Philly steak ciabatta, and it was absolutely delicious. The steak was tender, the filling was generous, and everything was freshly made with plenty of flavour. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the relaxed atmosphere made it a great place to stop for lunch. If you're in the area and looking for quality homemade food, I'd definitely recommend giving Baker's a try. I'll certainly be back!”

“What an amazing night we had at Bakers having a celebratory bottomless brunch! I have to say that their gin cooler is one of the best gin and tonics I’ve ever had honestly amazing!!! The food was fantastic as always when we go in, but the atmosphere and service last night was superb!! A special thanks to Joseph and Lucy for being so accommodating and attentive and the chefs who make amazing food! Won’t be long until we are back 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰 thank you”
