Reviewers center on the Desi breakfast, which several name alongside the Spanish latte, and one pairs it with homemade chai. Close behind are the English breakfast with a Nutella crepe, an omelette with salad, and a chicken sub one reviewer calls the best they have had. The tea gets a mention for its karak style. Most describe a friendly owner and staff, with food that arrives fresh and hot, in generous portions that one reviewer calls surprisingly cheap. Large groups come up twice, with parties of around 20 seated and served quickly. One reviewer asked to swap toast for a gluten free version that was not listed on the menu, and the kitchen agreed. Reviewers describe the room as lovely and welcoming, with recycled wood that one reviewer particularly liked. No recurring complaints appear. One visitor notes the café was small, with only four tables, and several say they plan to return.

“Really nice staff and exceptional food. Service was very quick considering there were at least 20+ of us. All the food was fresh and hot. Very hospitable and welcoming. The tea was amazing and had a perfect karak style. A big thank you to the whole team for making our visit such a lovely experience. Food was well priced and surprisingly cheap for the portion sizes given. Highly recommended and would come back.”

“A fantastic experience. We saw it on the socials, so decided to try it as they offer gluten free options. It did not disappoint. We got a desi breakfast, half breakfast and homemade chai. It was all spot on 👌🏼 I requested to swap the toast for a GF version even though it wasn't on the menu like that, and they were happy to do so. Lovely little spot, very shabby chic. We particularly appreciated the recycled wood style. And Layla, brilliant hosting skills 10/10 👏🏼 mA”

“We went for breakfast here and I googled to see what cafes are around Bolton. Saw that this place had good reviews and decided to come, it lived to its expectations. Staff were really friendly and I presume it was the owner who was there was really chatty and suggested we tried out the spanish latte as it was popular. My sister tried it and said it was amazing. We went for the english breakfast and a nutella crepe, all our plates were cleared it was that good. The interior was lovely and welcoming, it kinda gave off Manchester northern quarter vibes. Highly recommend visiting this place for breakfast/brunch.”
