Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often come to watch live sport, with TVs placed so that most tables and seats have a screen in view. Several call the beer decent and not too expensive, one singles out a pint of Fosters, and another notes revolving ales on cask alongside draught, bottles, wines and spirits. Close behind is the staff, described as friendly, welcoming and quick to serve, including one worker who handled a busy Saturday lunchtime alone. Diners also mention spacious seating inside and out that suits big groups, a local, friendly atmosphere, and in one case a feel like a live concert. The criticism is narrower. One visitor found a woman at the toilets rude and hostile when their party waited at the door, in a pub that was empty at the time. Another reviewer with arthritis finds the upstairs toilets a struggle. One first-time visitor liked the skeleton pictures on the wall near the ladies.

“Pub was busy for saturday lunch time, the girl did well to serve customers as she was on her own, great pint of fosters, like these big bars plenty of leg room, toilets are upstairs which is bit of a killer for me having arthritis in my leg.”

“We came to visit at around 12 o’clock on a Saturday and online it says closes at 1am but there was no one in there. The people we were with were using the bathroom and the woman said twice can you get out in quite a rude way it appeared to us. We were waiting and causing no trouble and suggested to change the hours online as it’s deceiving. We were waiting at the door for them to come out the bathroom and the lady was waiting next to us as if we were a problem. Also another lady went in the bathroom and ushered them out which was also a bit odd. My partner is autistic and doesn’t like unnecessary confrontation, when all we were doing was waiting peacefully for the other people we were with. Didn’t order drinks or food so can’t comment on that. Didn’t appreciate the hostility.”

“So it all started off by needing to find a boozer to watch the live football. I came across this little gem and I couldn’t have been happier. It’s got TVs more or less everywhere so no matter where you sit down you will most likely always be in view of a tv. The beer was decent and not so expensive and also the staff was doing a great job and quick to serve. I will be back here again to watch live sports.”
