Quick info
About Turtle Bay Blackpool
Turtle Bay Blackpool is a Caribbean restaurant and cocktail bar at Unit 1 Promenade in Blackpool, with 241 cocktails on the menu. The kitchen marinates its jerk chicken for 24 hours, and the smash burger comes with spiced chips on the side. Mocktails sit alongside the cocktails, and the jungle bird is one of the cocktails on the list. Food is served at the table. Once the evening arrives, Bay After Dark adds live music and entertainment with late-night drinks, so the bar keeps going after dinner. Bottomless Brunch is part of the offering too.

Customer Review Summary
Servers draw the most praise, described as friendly, attentive and prompt. One waitress found a similar meal when an app offer turned out not to be valid, and another gave tips on places to visit. Food follows close behind. The smash burger with spiced chips is named by more than one reviewer, and one says to order a side because the burger is a little sad and lonely on its own. Others single out the brown chicken and rice, calamari, garlic crispy wings, sea bream, fish fry, trini toastie and banana bread. Cocktails such as the jungle bird earn praise, along with mocktails and a sorrel lemonade and ginger beer of generous size. The caveat is authenticity and seasoning. One Jamaican reviewer found the food ok and nothing to rave about, and another wanted jerk seasoning on a chicken wrap that was a bit too crispy. One birthday party received a free shot and a handwritten card, and staff made their favourite drink even though it had been taken off the menu.

“My waitress was very Friendly and helpful as I came in with an offer that was showing on the Go Blackpool App and although it wasn't valid. She suggested a meal so similar that me and my daughter was happy with.I had a chicken wrap and peri fries. The wrap was nice and filling.I would have liked perhaps a different Seasoning on the chicken..like jerk and the wrap a bit too crispy but still good value. My daughter had a chicken burger and peri fries. She had No complaints. We both enjoyed our drinks. We had sorrel lemonade and ginger beer. The size was very generous We couldn't drink it all,but I took away with me in a bottle and we enjoyed it throughout the rest of our day. We would definitely visit again when we are in Blackpool 😃”

“Booked turtle bay for my 26th birthday and the staff were so so sweet! They made me feel so welcome, we got a free birthday shot and a hand written card, we also got made our favourite drink that got took of the menu because the drink id originally chose they had ran out of something that went in the drink but I was much happier with the one we used to love on the menu! Thankyou so much to the 3 staff working (from what I seen) the night of June 3rd 2026 you made my day🥰”
