  “The food was nice but the customer service was appalling. I ordered food for delivery and a wrap was missing from my order. When I called to say it was missing they just kept saying "it's in the bag" as if they were accusing me of lying. Eventually they said I would have to go and collect it myself! So even though I had paid for delivery including a delivery fee I had to go and collect the wrap myself! When I got there the manager was very rude and again he said "the wrap was in the bag". I thought his comments were rude and insulting.”

  “I placed my order over the phone, and it was ready for collection within just 10 minutes. The food was absolutely delicious—its quality and flavour are second to none. A special thank you to Umair, Abdullah, Ali, and Kaur for their outstanding customer service. They are always friendly, professional, and go above and beyond to ensure every customer has a great experience. Their dedication and attention to customer satisfaction are truly appreciated.   “Amazing! Ordered one paneer rice and chicken rice. Asked for it to be saucy and they definitely made it saucy for me. Food was hot and saucy, fries were fresh and crispy and had enough peri of them. Would definitely come again! Thank you”

  “Ordered rice box meal. Chicken had been overcooked and was extremely chewy. They had not grilled it either. I was told to bring the food back for exchange for a new one. Same problem as it was the same chicken that had been over cooked in the first place. But this time they had absolutely slathered it with sauce to the point that I was mainly sauce and would not have been edible. The guy continued to roll his eyes and be quite rude and even had the audacity to say that was the solution to dry chicken. This branch is an absolute let down to pepes on a whole and the company should look to close it down as it is absolutely terrible.”

  “I’ve been coming to Pepe’s for years and usually order the rice box. I always ask for it extra saucy because if I don’t, it’s very dry. In the past this has never been an issue and staff were happy to do it. However, over my last 2–3 visits, the experience has really gone downhill. When I ask for it extra saucy now, some staff get weird about it, insist it already is extra saucy when it clearly isn’t, and then say they have to charge extra. I have absolutely no problem paying extra — I’ve even asked them to charge me — but if I’m paying more, I expect to actually get what I’m paying for. I’m not spending money on dry rice. The bigger issue is the customer service. Most of the staff come across as rude and unhelpful, which has honestly put me off going back. The only positive is that there are two staff members who are consistently nice and accommodating — the guy on the grill and the tall bearded guy — they actually listen and make the food properly. It’s disappointing because I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but the attitude lately makes it feel like they don’t care. Customer service really needs improving.”

  “Chips cold asked for chicken well done!! And got this chewy not well done chicken instead paid for half chicken and the leg piece was non existent!! Partner order new burger look nothing like the picture!! Waste of £30!!”

  “Guys, you always give too little sauce compared to the number of orders! I don’t know why. Are you giving us food for free? You are responsible for providing sauce according to the number of orders. Also, our chicken boxes today didn’t have any vegetables which is included even you can see on the menu!!??!!”

  “I would give this place zero stars if it was possible. The chicken and rice were more like charcoal and rice. Most of it burnt and the remainder pieces were ridiculously dry. See photos and judge for yourself, I've even put some aside and taken a photo to show bad it was. Don't waste your money and suffer from food poisoning eating from here. Wish I read the other reviews before ordering. Additional dips I paid for weren't sent. The only thing good was the Pepsi can. Won't be visiting any Pepes again as pretty much everyone seems to have zero quality control.”
