  “It's a Big John's - what do you expect?! The pictures in the bio for this Google review page are misleading, this store has no seating. It's a pick up spot for takeaways, basically. There are always good deals going and, for the price, the food is OK. Staff are fine, I suppose. If I was earning as little as them and had to wear those uniforms I probably wouldn't smile that much either.”

  “They were sooooo slow I waited 20 minutes for 2 beef burgers and the shop was empty as well. The guy took my order but then spent 10-15 minutes talking to his coworker then finally went to make my order which only took 5 minutes in total and there was no apology for the amount of time it took to make it. Horrible experience don’t come if you want “Fast” food”

  “I ordered from the Hagley Rd branch. I ordered a large meat pizza, small veg pizza and 2 drinks one mango one guava. They gave me large veg, small meat, and 2 guava drinks. I ordered from just eat, complained and sent evidence to just eat. They got me a refund. An hour later a lady, who is a staff member, calls me and spoke to so rudely. She was pretty heated up saying she prep the order basically trying to accuse me of lying. I told her to calm down and I've got evidence if she really wants she can come and take the veg pizza which I've still got. I also told her I'm in a teams meeting so she can check her evidence she claims she has and call me after 9. Nobody called. I got the Hagley Rd branch num from Google and called. The man I spoke was even more rude. I was basically told to put the phone down,and that he doesn't deal with orders or complaints. I said why are all big johns members of staff so rude and he said madam I'm speaking good English I'm not rude. Hoe childish. Never ordering from their again.”

  “Asked for 2 piece chicken breast and chips, got 1 chicken breast and 1 leg that i dont even eat. The guy didnt ask me if I wanted salt and vinegar. He put my chips in a box and left it on the side then started someone else's order leaving my food to go cold, its all cold and tasteless. Shocking service, wont be going back. I'll be going to in to show them this review.”

  “Absolutely awful experience. The pizza was recieved basically uncooked — the dough was still raw and doughy in the middle, which is completely unacceptable. On top of that, all the toppings were sliding off the entire slice. It looked like a complete mess and was impossible to eat properly like a normal pizza. When I called to complain, the person on the phone was extremely rude and dismissive instead of trying to help. He kept speeding up the conversating being very arrogant. To make things even worse, they ended up blocking my number afterwards, which is completely unprofessional. Definitely not worth the money, and I won’t be ordering from here again.”

  “I recently visited this shop and had a very disappointing experience. The 10-piece bucket of fried chicken was dry and lacked freshness, and the fries were cold and similarly dry. Additionally, there were no restroom facilities available for customers, which was inconvenient. The seating was also in poor condition, with several chairs showing visible signs of wear and tear. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to others, as it does not provide good value for the price charged.”

  “Don’t bother ordering from here via delivery platforms. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. • Delivery: Food arrived 20+ minutes after the ETA. We let it slide as it was a busy time, but the issues didn’t stop there. • Food Quality: • Ordered a lamb donner in naan – the bread was not fresh at all, dry, and just slapped on the grill for colour. • Ordered SFC chicken – tasted old and not fresh. • Ordered a beef burger meal – it was supposed to include a drink and hot chilli sauce. Instead, we received no drink and the wrong sauce. The only drink we got was the extra one we paid for. • Temperature: To top it off, all of the food arrived completely cold. This company’s quality has really gone downhill. There seems to be no care, attention to detail, or consistency anymore. Do not order from here”

The fish and chips was really great and the fish fresh. The Doner Chicken on a naan had the most awesome flavours. Will definitely order again. The chef deserves a special mention and five stars for him too .”
