“Went in after a walk by the canal. The young lady behind the bar was extremely friendly and helpful but we were disappointed to discover that no food was available apart from bar snacks. For such a large pub, in a prime location with plenty of houses and a canal walk, it was disappointing to see it almost empty. The five star score is solely based on the friendliness and helpfulness of the young lady behind the bar. Such a shame as the pub could really be something if the brewery put some time and effort into it.”
