Customer Review Summary
Shawarma is what reviewers return to most, from a juicy Arabic shawarma wrap served with flavoured rice to the chicken shawarma and the shawarma fatta one reviewer specifically recommends. Close behind are the grills, with the Casta Chicken and Sheesh Tawok called flavourful and cooked to perfection, and the hummus and baba ganoush described as outstanding. Diners also mention freshly made sauces, garlic sauce and proper Middle Eastern flat bread. Generous portions and friendly, checking-in staff come up repeatedly, and one reviewer travels from Carrickfergus to eat here. The main complaint comes from one reviewer who found the fried chicken excessively oily, with a set of four pieces that included one very small wing, plus a cool welcome during a busy spell and tables seated later being served first. Others describe quick service. One reviewer notes the owner treated them to the newest tea.

“Dar Misk does Middle Eastern grills and shawarma for a fair price. Portions are generous and it hits the spot, though don't expect anything too fancy. I specifically recommend the shawarma fatta.”

“Had an amazing experience at Darmisk Grill (as always) today with my wife! The hospitality, as expected always a top-notch from the moment we walked in. They even treated us to their newest tea, which was absolutely lovely and such a thoughtful touch. Their consistent service is always outstanding. Attentive servers, a genuinely friendly owner, a hardworking team behind the scenes in the kitchen. You can really feel the passion they have for what they do. It feels great and exciting to see them getting a bigger space and even planning a future branch in Dublin. Well deserved success for such a great place. Will always highly recommend checking them out!”

“Bless this little restaurant and I hope this small restaurant finds great success in its operation. I always forget to put a review after eating but this time I could not forget. First of all: customer service, serving the food very quickly (neat and polished plates and cutlery)! Presentation of food was incredible, even the garlic sauce I was obsessed with whilst I had my very juicy شاورما عربية wrap which was neatly layed with the rice which was also flavoured well. Very nice sized portions too! And nice selection of ethical drinks like Gaza colas and Barr collection which is a bonus :) The waiters even checked up on us for service reviews and the waitress was very friendly and even asked us about our experience here in Belfast and around Ireland ( and where we came from, England btw). They provided us with everything we needed + very decorative Arabic atmosphere and traditional lighting which I felt proud to be part of! If this restaurant was a movie, it would definitely be in ULTRA HD QUALITY or even higher! This is the place I didn't know I needed to try! 🔥🔥🔥 I would travel back to Ireland as a tourist just to eat here again!”
