About Jam Restaurant and Coffee Shop - Park Centre
Jam Restaurant and Coffee Shop is a cafe in Belfast, found at Unit 23 inside the Park Centre. The breakfast bar serves a fry, and the menu also includes a ham and cheese toastie that comes with tea or coffee. Lasagne, a chicken curry special and salad sit among the other dishes, so the food runs beyond the morning menu into lunch. Coffee is part of the offer as well, and the cafe serves it in its own right. A bus stop is near the centre.

Customer Review Summary
Friendly staff are the most repeated draw, with several reviewers describing a warm welcome and one saying the team went above and beyond. Happy diners point to a lovely fry, good coffee and a ham and cheese toastie, and one calls the quick menu convenient for the bus stop. Another found the food extremely tasty. Prices are the recurring complaint, even among some positive reviewers, who call them a touch on the high side. The negative reviews are specific. A chicken curry special drew complaints about low grade chicken and a tiny portion of rice and chips. A salad was likened to a shop-bought one with two bits of chicken added. One reviewer felt a server was cold after asking whether a pastry contained nuts. Two visitors were served a toastie with nothing inside, just two pieces of heated bread, and another was charged extra for the coleslaw and onions they had expected to come with theirs.

“the person selling food here was rude. i have light allergies to nuts and simply asked if one of the pastries has nuts, and i was told it’s manufactured on the same equipment. this is fine and i was going to purchase the pastry but was coldly told she can’t sell it to me anyway??”

“I got a salad here and for £10 what came out should have been better. It was like they went to iceland and got salad and then put 2 bits of chicken in. My face when they brought it out. All the staff were lovely. You need to lower your prices for £10 I would be expecting a high end salad not the one I got.”

“Visited with my Mum and daughter yesterday. Mum had a toastie, daughter had lasagne, I had chicken curry special. The chicken was awful, must be a very low grade of meat, the rice was maybe 2 spoonfuls with a small amount of chips. £52. Will never eat here again, low grade food and extremely high prices! Toastie was advertised as coming with crisps and coleslaw but when we questioned the price we were actually charged extra for the coleslaw and onions. Shocking”
