  “My husband and I walked in at lunchtime and were greeted warmly by our server, Smeril. We ordered from the 2 course lunch menu and the food was absolutely delicious. We weren't expecting complimentary bread and dips or huge portions due to the great value for money, but we got both!! I ended up bringing half my main meal home, although we did keep a little space for dessert and apple tea (Sutluc- my favourite!). The service we received from Smeril and Erkan was great, the restaurant was spotless, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming. We've been meaning to visit for a while now, and I'm only sad it took so long to do so. We would not hesitate to reccomend The Olive Tree to friends and family, and we will definitely be back ❤️”

  “We were made very welcome from the moment we entered. Service was prompt and personal. The choice was excellent and the food delicious. My party had two birthday celebrants and we got the 'whole extravaganza' with music, 'fireworks and tasty cake. I would heartily recommend this venue. We will certainly be going again.”

  “I totally love this restaurant and can highly recommend it. I love the starter bread because it is super soft but also flat and tasty. The grill menu is excellent and the platter is so full that we (up to 3 adults) have never been able to finish it at once. Special shout out to Chef Mohammad for doing a good job on the grill. The only downside is that the food is quite expensive so if you’re on a tight budget, this is probably not the place.”

  “The service was great! Special shout out to Erkan) 😊 The Lamb Mousakka was tasty however slightly lacking in flavour. Although I enjoyed the experience! I had the lunch menu.”

  “We came here yesterday for Eid, we were a group of 20 and they accommodated us. The service was fantastic, the food was absolutely delicious. Fresh bread, chicken shish was tender and tasty. The salmon was also tasty and a big portion. Will definitely be back again.”

  “I came to this restaurant in the evening on a weekday with friends. We did not book a table and were able to walk in and be seated. They have an array of drinks and food to choose from. Once you’ve finished ordering, you get complementary bread with dips. For starters, we ordered the Halloumi, Sigara Borek and the Kalamar. Would say the Halloumi and Sigara Borek are worth getting but the Calamari there were only three pieces for £9. So I feel like there could’ve been more for that price. The mains they have all come with salad and rice. The mains we ordered were Chicken Wings, Chicken Guvec and Chicken Sarma. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the salad was amazing. It is one of the best salads I have had from a Turkish restaurant. For desserts we ordered the Triliche, Baklava and Chocolate Fondant. My dessert was Baklava and I really enjoyed it, it was delicious and flaky, served with ice cream. We ordered quite a few drinks, from alcoholic and non-alcoholic, they have a good selection to choose from. Would recommend trying a few different ones of the cocktails and mocktails to see what you like. It was quite busy and a good atmosphere. Sometimes it was hard to get staff attention but once you got someone they would help and bring what you need. Overall really good experience, great food, great atmosphere, good service overall. Would come again.”
